The day after the long drive from the north to the south of the island we spent at the beach Plage de Cupabia. From the balcony of our apartment in Serra-di-Ferro we had a nice view of the beach.
Den Tag nach der langen Fahrt vom Norden in den Süden der Insel verbrachten wir am Strand Plage de Cupabia. Vom Balkon unserer Ferienwohnung in Serra-di-Ferro hatten wir einen schönen Ausblick auf den Strand.
The resort also had a pool, but we did not use it.
Die Ferienanlage hatte auch einen Pool, den wir aber nicht benutzten.
The beautiful bay is located west of Propriano and south of Ajaccio.
Die schöne Bucht liegt westlich von Propriano und südlich von Ajaccio.
We spent the first week of October in Serra-di-Ferro. This is in the off-season, and the beach is then pretty empty, but the water is still warm enough for bathing.
Wir verbrachten die erste Oktoberwoche in Serra-di-Ferro. Das ist in der Nachsaison, und der Strand ist dann schön leer, das Wasser aber immer noch warm genug zum Baden.
In the bay there are 2 beaches separated by a rock. Anyone who is too lazy to climb over the rock or to walk a few meters from the sea back to the road in order to get to the other beach can also go over the stones by the sea.
In der Bucht befinden sich 2 Strände, welche durch einen Felsen getrennt sind. Wer zu faul ist, über den Felsen zu klettern oder ein paar Meter vom Meer ins Hinterland zu laufen, um zum anderen Strand zu gelangen, kann auch direkt am Meer über die Steine gehen.

Our dinner we enjoyed on our balcony in the evening sun.
Unser Abendessen genossen wir auf unserem Balkon in der Abendsonne.
The cat also wanted to take a few bites. We threw her a few pieces of cheese and ham down.
Die Katze wollte auch ein paar Bissen abhaben. Wir warfen ihr ein paar Stücke Käse und Schinken runter, sehr zur Freude der Urlauber, welche eine Etage tiefer wohnten.
Later we could marvel again a beautiful sunset over the sea.
Später konnten wir erneut einen schönen Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer bestaunen.

Hi @twinner, I have never visited Corsica, but it looks beautiful. I see there are almost no waves in the sea, is it always like that? I love to swim in waves!!
It depends on the winds. If there is wind from south west, then you have waves in this beach. Same beach, some days later ...

Ja, ist ein wenig wärmer dort als in Sibirien :-)

Im Sommer ist es in Sibirien 35 Grad warm, und Dank der Luftfeuchtigkeit von ein paar Prozenten ist es bestimmt angenehmer als dieser Dauerdunst am Meer :) ha ha ha
Ja, im Sommer schon, aber im Winter ...
Ich liebe das Winterende dort im März: Keine einzige Wolke, nur Sonne pur und total klare trockene Luft bei minus 20-35 Grad, meine Handschuhe hatte ich dort nie gebraucht.
