Last summer I got into rare plants, since I lost my main line of work and was at home all the time lol. I can't believe how far the collection has come along since then.
This is a philodendron plowmanii the stems are flat and I just love how big the leaves have gotten this has definitely been my most successful plant. I bought them most from one or two leaf cuttings so it's taken a while for them to mature.

Cane stem begonia, it isn't that rare but I absolutely adore the flowers so wanted to feature her.

This is the most expensive plant in my entire collection, I resisted for so long due to the price. This was £600 when it only had 2 leaves. It's still in it's very delicate period and needs a little more love and care yet to thrive but I think it's slowly getting there. It's a variegated adasonii. As with the monstera the plain ones you can just get for £5 from the supermarket, the white is the thing that makes all the difference.

Variegated monstera - I have now managed to get 4 of these from plant going as well as having made a few cuttings. Again it's the white that adds the £00's to these otherwise common houseplants.

Philodendron prince of orange, not the rarest of plants but I love them, the leaves come out bright orange and then slowly turn green.

Philodendron tenue

Florida ghost, another of my favourites as the leaves come out white and turn green over time. I got this when it only had that back green leaf so it's finally coming into its own.

Philodendron verrucosum, I left this poor thing out in too bright a sun before realising they defo like it a bit shady, it's actually one of my faves as the leaves are like velvet but the burnt ones don't look so happy, thankfully is some beautiful new growth coming now!
Philodendron pink princess one of the first plants that got me into rare plants in the first place, It is the one I am still working on perfecting the health of.
