Soo... Apparently Aloha, Or. has a skatepark.
I got this footage over 2 seperate trips to this skatepark.. the first time I went, the sprinklers ended up turning on about 10 minutes into the start of my Session.
this area that the skatepark is in, is called the "South Hillsboro" development, or "Reeds crossing".
It is kind of a sign of the times.. the area all these houses and this skatepark is built on, was previously farmland where the property owner would harvest grass seed, and hay for livestock feed.
As the name would seem to imply, the south Hillsboro development isn't going to stop with just this little neighborhood.. it will continue to be developed south until they hit the urban growth boundary and are met by the agricultural zone.. which fortunately, and unfortunately the urban growth boundary was extended into the agricultural boundary where the hazelnut orchard that we harvest every year is..
So basically the deal is that once they build south enough and get to our orchard, that is when we will have to stop harvesting and turn the orchard over, because it's already been sold.. but the condition was put in place, that we will harvest until they are ready to develope.
