I hadn't expected playing in Frontier mode to be so much fun and so rewarding. In Modern mode, daily rewards consist merely of entries for the Fortune Draw, where you might win prizes; however, in Frontier mode, every five wins earn you two Foundation cards directly. Based on drop rates, there is a 75.2% chance of getting Common cards, 20% for Rare, 4% for Epic, and 0.8% for Legendary cards, plus an additional 2% chance of pulling a Gold Foil card. And the rewards don't stop there—winning five battles also grants you an entry into the Weekly Frontier Draw, offering a chance to win even better prizes. To top it all off, these Foundation set cards aren't soulbound, meaning you can trade them whenever you like—isn't that amazing?

Well, that was enough for me to understand exactly what I needed to do in this battle. Incidentally, when working with the Water element, I myself usually choose Marlai as the Archon; however, the tip proved useful because it made the task much easier. There was one other thing that came in handy here: the fact that you can view the challenger's team composition before selecting your own. Although I didn't quite grasp that point initially, I was left dumbfounded upon seeing those very same cards in the opponent's camp once the battle began. I simply couldn't fathom how anyone could construct a team entirely devoid of magic attacks, especially after having chosen Marlai as their Archon. Just take a look for yourself: the enemy team featured only a single magic attacker—and even that was likely included solely because the unit possessed a dual-attack capability. Yet, the opponent had positioned this unit at the very end of their lineup—a placement that effectively prevented it from utilizing its secondary attack type (Melee) in addition to its magic attacks.

I started playing in Frontier mode yesterday, and so far, I’ve earned rewards by winning five battles on three separate occasions. The reason this number is relatively low is twofold: firstly, I’ve spent far less time in Frontier compared to Modern mode; secondly, I currently possess only a limited number of basic cards for this set, which makes winning battles a bit challenging. However, I am gradually earning some better cards from this set—so far, I’ve acquired five Common cards and one Rare card. That said, you can't really compare these cards to those from other sets, as they are designed specifically for brand-new players to keep them engaged. Since Frontier mode is played exclusively using cards from the Foundation set, everyone—whether a new player or a veteran—starts with the same basic-level cards; this ensures a level playing field and makes the game enjoyable for newcomers.

Well, I’m already interested in the game, but whenever I run out of energy in Modern, playing Frontier Battles keeps the fun going.
Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥

If you also want to enjoy this amazing game and you have not yet signed up, I invite you to Splinterlands, and I will also try my best to guide you in this game. 😎
