I appreciate your substantial reasons for disagreement with me. However, unless, like I do, you believe humanity is being domesticated, bred and culled purposely, people do not simply vacillate morally. The environment in which their morals are applicable do vacillate, and this is what creates the appearance that the morals of humanity vacillate.
Today it is almost suicidal to express sound morals publicly. In fact, it is suicidal, as the murder of Jessica (don't remember her full name, but am sure you are aware of the event) for stating that all human lives matter, and doing so to a mob of racist black supremacists.
BLM is not simply an organic movement of outraged victims of racist policies. Further, it is fundamentally racist. Black is a racial designation. Regardless of whether some people in it, or even the vast majority (which I do not believe) are opposed to racism, the fact is that the enemedia and bankster elites are using BLM to racially divide humanity, for the profit of globalists.
Our humanity isn't variable. The world in which we are human is. Hard times are catastrophic events, evolution in action, and today it seems that the herd of H.vulgaris that has been bred up by the evolutionary pressures of society controlled by inhuman and inhumane institutions has become sufficient to attain the purpose for which they were bred: to install the cabal of banksters as gods of a global population of slaves utterly dependent on those gods for their continued existence, and the elimination of free men from the gene pool entirely.
In the last 40kyr the mental capacity of humanity has markedly decreased, and this is revealed by our brain capacity shrinking by ~25% in that time. I believe this is the result of the need of psychopathic parasites to control humanity through institutions, that our eusociality is that attribute that most contributes to survival of the fittest in that context, whether that satanic hellspawn has maintained some kind of secret society or simply has the same purpose and capacity to control society as a result of the limitless evil only they can deploy to gain power.
Perhaps today we observe the division of humanity into two species of psychopaths: masters and slaves, and the elimination of free people less eusocial, but capable of both socialization and reason. I note the appearance of H. neanderthalensis going extinct ~40kya but the reality research now reveals that in actually that race of humanity simply was absorbed into H. sapiens.
I actually have been engaged in considerable research on that topic of late, which I should post just to clarify what I have learned from it.
Anyway, I am alarmed at the apparent preparations for martial law and the global imposition of a corrupt tyranny by psychopathic banksters, which seems to certainly be intent on forced DNA alteration of humanity with 'vaccines' for the common cold, as laid out by Bill Gates.
That, not whether Sen. Ron Wyden (my Senator in OR) is or isn't corrupt, is my present concern. I hope I am absolutely delusional, and you are damn right to disagree with me. That is the context for my comments.

The general direction of institutional control is not only predictable, but laid out by UN publications, amongst others. However, Tranny Story Time at the local library wasn't only unpredictable, it remains inconceivable, just as preteen drag queens dancing in gay bars, complete with dollar bills stuffed in their tiny banana hammocks, cannot be understood in merely reasonable considerations of societal evolution.
This despite history providing the example of the Weimar Republic. It is instructive to consider the societal evolution of Germany that followed, IMHO.
The disruption of society essential to breaking it enough to impose a new normal depends on unpredictability, because predictability enables nominal countermeasures. Mountain Guerrilla reveals a sound understanding of this principle in discussion of tactical operations. However, the principle is just as applicable strategically, as our enemies reveal to our dismay.

I disagree with some of his points on an emotional level,but I can't diagree with them on a factual level. He does take the same basic point that you do, that the USA is an imperial power that is collapsing. His viewpoint is that it is beyond saving.
I have to disagree that events external to a given community do not affect that community, however, there's a diminishing capacity to cope that necessitates focus on the community.
Given that I am intent on replacing institutions with peers, and politics with interpersonal interactions, I agree with Mosby per your statement, but I strongly doubt his background will engender our agreement on that purpose. Fortunately, I am, I believe, simply rolling with the tide of technological advance, which mere will and acts of war cannot prevent, or even mitigate. The laws of physics dictate what tech is possible, clever tinkering will produce it, and the most we can do to counter those realities is bomb people into the stone age, which just delays the inevitable.
