Pretty much straight sideways action which generally happens with such low volume as Bitcoin is right where it was yesterday at this time at $6,300. As is very often the case, ETC is up more than the other alts during a consolidation period and Monero is also marching to its own beat, up over 2%. ZEC and Ripple are the bargains so far today, down over 2.75%. The clown race has been bumped off page 1 of my ticker because of low volume but ELF leads down only .5% and 0X is down almost 4%.

When we looked at the 12-hour bitcoin chart yesterday, I mentioned that a little sideways action would be good but I didn't believe it would happen. So far, it has and the MACD on the 12 is looking to cross which should mean for a big pump. Of course, 66% of the time, price breaks downwards out of a bearish pennant so I have put my targets for both. Either way, there is stronger support and resistance in this triangle and reduced volume that has to break one way or the other fairly soon. Grab your popcorn and place your bets!

Monero being in the green and increased interest I have seen lately leads me to the 12-hour XMR chart. There has been some real spikes in trade volume and nice volatility for the Scalpers as Monero has hit the top of the Bollinger Band, but not touched the bottom recently. On the MACD, we are threatening to cross upwards for a pump and the STOCH is showing PLENTY of room to grow and a distinct correction but still in oversold/undervalued. What is also exciting is that the All Time High resistance set 9 months ago is within reach (below the upper Bollinger deviation line.) It would be nice to see Monero lead the charge to a bull run with ETC.
