In the south east of Europe in Romania in the area of Buzau which is under the auspices of UNESCO there is an open air museum called Magura sculpture camp and it is one of the most impressive collections of its kind in Europe.
All the sculptures are executedin this timp by great contemporary artists. There are hundreds of such exhibits carved in stone brought mountains. Which can be visited at any time because they are exposed in the open air on the hills in a clearing in Carpathian mountains.
Another wonder of these places are the mud volcanoes . There are eruptions of mud and natural gas that create small volcanos in this lunar looking nature reserve. The arid and barren landscape looks like something out of SF movie. This mysterious place is found near town Berca Paclele Buzau. Also in this region we are proud of the mountain of salt from Lopatari , a place of legend where the mountain is a placethat attracts tourists from all corners of the country. The salt reserves are found at the surface depth of less than 50 cm substrate on the steep banks at the Slanic valley on a width of 2 km and a lenght of 5 km ond is a brilliant white that can be seen from a distance in the sunlight.
I will be back with more wonders from these places in the future .
