Below is my post from a year ago that hardly got a view so I'm putting it out once again with the link how to get to it at the bottom. I think it's worth a read. I put a lot of effort into writing it so I hope you'll take the time to read it. Because it's an old post you won't be able to upvote it, so do that on this post at the bottom as usual. But first, just to get you warmed up, here is a small story...
A HOLE IN THE GHOST
The number 2 translation device became active at 11.50am and caused ripples of excitement to bloom in the interlaces between the ghosts who all then turned to pray for a sandwich and a cup of tea before the thing turned off again.
“Oh we are so jolly and full of joy, for this to happen,” they said. And so it was and came to be and made them all happy.
All except the jelly ghost on a roll in one of the dark holes, that one was the exception.
Deep it went into the dark hole with its rod and bait searching out the scary monster that was hiding there somewhere.
In the deepest part of the hole with nothing left to lose a light came on and the ghost grinned ear to ear.
“No, no, the mask will break,” jested the ghost full of grace just then, thinking it was going home.
The light vanished as fast as it had come and plunged the ghost back into darkness so that it cried all the way back to the surface, and though it tried many times to get back into the hole and find the light again it could not and cried the more for having seen it.
The translation device carried on working and became the only consolation to the ghost from the hole, and day after day would sit in front of it hoping to hear news of the light.
