Once a week after my work, I go out to the local farmer to get fresh milk, butter and eggs! The products are great! At the farm they poor the unpasteurised milk in a bottle you bring or buy there! We love it! Do you go to your local farm?

Why is it illegal to sell raw milk in some places?
I have no idea... here it is legal and i love it!

We raise dairy goats for our own fresh, raw milk, and it is da BOMB! Seriously, best milk ever. If we did not have goats, I would be searching for a farm to buy from.
It is actually illegal to sell raw milk here though, unless labeled as pet quality, but lots of people buy 'pet quality' to consume. Its a loophole.

must be delicious! Where is it illegal? here the seller has to tell it is uncooked and you best cook it before using. But you actually don't have to! just keep in mind it is fresh and you cant hold it for weeks :p in our house it gone in 1 or 2 days anyway :)
In the US it varies state to state. Usually it is only legal to sell if you label it as pet quality, but some states have banned the sale altogether. It is very frustrating! A couple states have no laws against it, which is as it should be.
Incredible...Wel if you treat it right there is no harm in drinking unpasteurised milk, so I think it is ridiculous that they ban it :s
Yes, it is extremely frustrating. Raw milk is so much better for you than pasteurized anyday, and besides that, people should be free to choose what type of milk, (or anything else!) they want to purchase and consume.
I actually do and if I can't make it there, he will deliver to my house. I feel so fortunate especially living this close to Washington DC. One of the best things that I have discovered here.
