so i went to chicago to visit my friends and got my friend @wavyid to agree to make a game with me. i wanted to make something that we could finish in a decent amount of time. Not something that takes years. So i proposed the idea of making an incremental game like cookie clicker.
We went out to breakfast and the idea came to him: Why dont we make a chicken game about laying eggs?
So, without making this post too long about the last couple of months, we have been gridning on this chicken game and realizing its a lot harder to make an incremental game fun than we expected.
the artwork for the game is amazing. and its all @wavyid. looking back at all this now, makes me want to work on it again. we will. we have 5 minigames we need to introduce at the right times and balance out the pricing of stuff. its cool being the coder on a video game for once. usually i am the artist. but i am not a game designer. this project has showed me that game design is for sure the hardest part.
