I know i said it was done before, but thats not how finishing a game is. you polish and fix one thing and 3 more things pop up that you need to polish.
i can finally say that its done now, where, nothing more needs to be added, and not adding those things will not subtract from the game.
I sent it to some friends to playtest- and i implemented everything they suggested. i have done that the whole time with studio sim-- any and every suggestion i have added to the game. Im bringing it to IGDA on wednesday for a final playtest, but it could be released on steam by that point if they approve my build.

I added the studio assistant which was an idea after bringing it to the game dev meeting and thinking about how to turn it into an incremental game. i plopped him in there and he was huge and i liked it it reminded me of like a Goron from zelda or something. I re textured him and its slightly creepy.

i found some more photos of old painings and cut out some new shapes for the painting UI

wishlist the game
The studio assistant now paints by himself and randomly rotates, sizes and places a random sticker onto the canvas. this is really cool.

You can then press a button to transfer the studio assistants work onto another canvas, which you can add to, to collaborate with him before shipping the painting.
All of the painting that the player sends down the evevator get posted to the website, instragram, threads, deviantart, tumblr, and bluesky.

The game is hooked up to claude which generates a critique of your painting on a screen when you do upload it.
There is now a gallery below the studio, where you can continuously buy NPCs to view and react to your work. they use claude to abide by a personality and react to your work.

I got some cool art from capn to put on the computer screen.

added a couple more NPCs

Added some plants to unlock in the greenhouse

so yeah the game is done
i hope you enjoy if you play and i look forward to seeing your creations
