I was on my merry way thinking about which community I should engage with this Thursday, and I actually had no clue where to go after last week´s post:
My Gems are Your Gems, I love sharing Gems in the GEMS community.
So let me quickly explain that, atm I have challenged myself to visit and learn a bit about a new community each week on Thursday. The boldly go where no WhyWhy has gone before challenge with myself.
WhyWhy you may ask
The reason why is that I have learned that Hive is all about engagement, the thing is I am all about content creation.
That is a mix that doesn´t match that well, hence as per this year I started pushing myself to engage & discover more planets in the Hive universe.
So how did I land here, well that was because @bozz posted his Three Tunes Tuesday post here last week.
What does that tell you
That post is a really nice segway to explaining what I am all about. Because I am all about the bass, the bass, and more bass.
What I am trying to say is I love writing and I love music, having studied journalism and having had a career as an alternative rock & dance DJ it was obvious that one day those two would get bonded in my content.
And so they did, I created My Midnight Gems Sessions in which I started sharing music that I think is worth sharing, songs that you probably never heard but that I consider gems.
Slowly these sessions grew into a written radio show, with songs that are hand-picked and turned into a pretty playlist to provide you Dear Reader with new music every week(as of 2023 they contain YouTube and Spotify playlists).

There is more with less music
I hate talking about myself, but I love writing about my life and right now I am in the midst of writing the book on the crazy unbelievable life of WhyWHy.
I just published chapter 37 and all chapters are captured in this collection.
The story is about mysterious beings, aliens and other entities I have met since I got a body to walk on this rock floating in space. Now that sounds like fantasy, but trust me this is real and really unbelievable.
Because I can´t let go of my love for music I end every chapter with a song that fits the story at that time. Those songs will then again be used in teaser posts, that will tip the veil on each the chapter:

Not really, Ad-hoc I write some crypto stuff. But lately, I was too busy to deep dive into that. But there is one more thing, which brings us back to that post that got me here in the first place.
My latest weekly writings I added to my content are all about #SpreadTheVibes STV. This is a musical post triggered by another post or comment on Hive. And that was Three Tunes Tuesday post I mentioned. It had a picture that made my heart skip a beat:

Well, I've been reading the chapters of Providential with pleasure for quite some time now and I can confirm everyone should start reading it!
I can also confirm that @whywhy is a great guy (in real life too) and he has been very consistent in creating content on Hive, I'm glad I onboarded you as now I learned more about you, lol.
Engagement is indeed so important but in my case, I can say, when real life is overwhelming the first thing I lack at is engagement. You are making an effort weekly, so keep it up!

I am trying, and I did learn the hard way about engagement. But I am so much more comfortable creating that I really need to challenge myself to engage more and more. Thanks for the cool comment!
You know, some people (I was one of them) get lucky and find some good support from the early days, when engagement follows naturally. But even with that support, I've seen the markets go up and down numerous times now and it's a trend that engagement is lower on everyone's side if the earnings are lower. My posts aren't as high rewarded as when the markets are way up but I try to keep publishing most days consistently so people won't forget you.. You will probably see some bigger support over time when you continue at this pace.
Btw I meant it :) It's always a guess if someone you onboard will stick through, especially during market swings and bearish times, but the ones that do, will be rewarded, and the connections I made here since I joined are priceless..
