Unfortunately, as much as many people still try to deny... The world is a place that has a society full of segregation. In some way, we are all categorized (by ourselves or by others) into many different aspects. Over the course of our lives, this often tends to happen almost "automatically" so that we can fit - or be fitted - into groups.
No one likes to be seen as "different" and no matter how many people have their minds shielded against the segregation of concepts, ideas, thoughts and behaviors of those who are alienated by the many mistaken customs of other generations... The fact is that being seen as the "stranger in the nest" will always annoy us all. On different levels, but it will always bother us because it affects our esteem.
However, looking at the other side of the same situation... There is another side of the coin. Being uniquely authentic, without labels or stupid standards makes these people unique in their "quirks", holding themselves up as a glimpse of the future that can influence generations to come. Not being like everyone else is almost an "act of rebellion", which shows society that you are not such a "toy" so "handle".
Anyone who decides to "swim against the tide" tends to face more stormy seas, but if this is something that clearly brings the truth to you, it's a path worth following because you won't have to struggle to use any "disguise" to be well seen by people and accepted in a certain group. All efforts when they are against your own principles, against your own essence... Are just a waste of time.
Lamentablemente, por mucho que mucha gente todavía intente negar... El mundo es un lugar que tiene una sociedad llena de segregación. De alguna manera, todos estamos categorizados (por nosotros mismos o por otros) en muchos aspectos diferentes. A lo largo de nuestras vidas, esto tiende a suceder casi "automáticamente" para que podamos encajar - o ser encajados - en grupos.
A nadie le gusta ser visto como "diferente" y no importa cuántas personas estén protegidas sus mentes contra la segregación de conceptos, ideas, pensamientos y comportamientos de quienes están alienados por las muchas costumbres equivocadas de otras generaciones... El hecho es que ser visto como el "extraño en el nido" siempre nos molestará a todos. A diferentes niveles, pero siempre nos va a molestar porque afecta nuestra estima.
Sin embargo, mirando el otro lado de la misma situación... Hay otro lado de la moneda. Ser excepcionalmente auténticos, sin etiquetas ni estándares estúpidos hace que estas personas sean únicas en sus "peculiaridades", presentándose como una visión del futuro que puede influir en las generaciones venideras. No ser como todos los demás es casi un "acto de rebelión" que muestra a la sociedad que no eres un "juguete", sino un "manipulador".
Cualquiera que decida "nadar contra la corriente" tiende a enfrentar mares más tormentosos, pero si esto es algo que claramente te trae la verdad, es un camino que vale la pena seguir porque no tendrás que luchar para usar ningún "disfraz" para ser bien visto por la gente y aceptado en cierto grupo. Todos los esfuerzos cuando van en contra de sus propios principios, en contra de su esencia... Son una pérdida de tiempo.
Infelizmente, por mais que muitas pessoas ainda tentem negar... O mundo é um lugar que tem uma sociedade cheia de segregações. De alguma maneira, todos nós somos categorizados (por nós mesmos ou pelas outras pessoas) em diversos e diferentes aspectos. Ao longo de nossas vidas, isso geralmente tende a acontecer de maneira quase "automática", para que o nós possamos nos encaixar - ou sermos encaixados - em grupos.
Ninguém gosta de ser visto como "diferente" e por mais que algumas pessoas suas mentes blindadas contra à segregação de conceitos, de ideias, de pensamentos e de comportamentos de quem é alienado pelos muitos costumes equivocados de outras gerações... O fato é que ser encarado como o "estranho no ninho", sempre irá incomodar a todos nós. Em níveis diferentes, mas sempre irá incomodar porque mexe com nossa estima.
No entanto, olhando para o outro lado da mesma situação... Existe o outro lado da moeda. Ser autêntico de maneira única, sem rótulos ou padrões estúpidos torna essas pessoas singulares em suas "peculiaridades", se mantendo como um vislumbre do futuro que pode influenciar as próximas gerações. Não ser igual a todos, é quase um "ato de rebeldia", que mostra para a sociedade que você não é um "brinquedo" tão "manipulável".
Quem decide "nadar contra a maré" tende a enfrentar mares mais tempestuosos, mas se isso é algo que traz, de maneira clara, à sua verdade, é um caminho que vale à pena seguir porque você não terá que se esforçar para usar nenhum "disfarce" para ser bem visto pelas pessoas e aceito em algum determinado grupo. Todos os esforços quando são contra seus próprios princípios, contra à sua essência... São uma perda de tempo.

Actually, you need not be a perfect fit to society's standards but you will find your tribe being authentic.
Because you attract real worth while connections that way that appreciate, accept and respect you as you are.
You know last year, I went completely bald and my family including my cats seemed unhappy with it because a lasy can't be hairless... but I had several people appreciate my guts to go hairless and actually it suited me better. I donated my hair for making wigs to cancer sould who have inferiority complex on being bald.
Post that, so many things changed, my confidence, my out look and other people's interaction with me.
Therefore, it is important to so something even if its not taken well in your society because its a goos thing. Eventually it feels goos and all.
And stay away from those who bring you down as you said, you condradict what you are, the values you have etc. Ironically, my family some what like that, but then they need to open up and see that it's important to not insult/reject some one based on their views, things they do etc...its mostly ego.
Anyway... interesting point here.

É na diferença que nos constituímos. Todo mundo igual, além de chato, seriamos ainda mais burros(em termos de generalização). A dificuldade é a diferença tornar-se um agregador, não uma segregação, como muito acontece. Vies humanos...
É sobre isso, sabe?! As pessoas precisam entender (de uma vez por todas) que todas essas diferenças sempre irão nos favorecer. Nós precisamos ser diferentes para manter o equilíbrio das coisas.
