Self is the Organism

Recently, I've been looking more closely at all things "Identity" related. The field of, "Identity" is a popular topic of investigation. For myself, the narrowing of focus here has largely been impulsed with matters related to money/business/cryptocurrency/citizenship.

Within everything that I investigate there's always an integral component of "introspection". Meaning, by default of my participation in whatever I am engaging - I always "introspect".

A global community group, Desteni...is a group of people throughout the world primarily concerned with investigating human potential and what that means in a practical living perspective. To phrase it with a question;

What does it mean to be a responsible human being?

I happen to come across a really cool article, "Self is the Organism"

  • Self is the Organism.

  • This means each is responsible as Everything here. Staring within ourselves....it's all a part of ourselves here. In applying this level of regard it creates a level playing field of support and assistance in creating our best direction.

  • To stand one and equal with all that is here is a process of accounting - seeing what it is we have accepted within our minds as our ways of thinking.

  • It's quite common for the thinking in mind to be polarized within the realms of superiority and inferiority....each to some extent or another creating one's own individualized dichotomy between being inferior and superior to varying degrees within various relationships...

  • Platform template to change the world with self-forgiveness. Our thinking influences our physiology - by taking care of our thinking, feelings and emotions...and actually making the effort to harmonize our internal reality with external reality - we're exercising our individual self-responsibility. It's a cool point really because each is a creator here and by taking responsibility for yourself as an equal here with all of existence....really regarding self as the organism...and everything equally so....there's a connection that grows and strengthen as our Life Awareness here. It becomes a less unconscious thing and more consciously here. Dr. Bruce Lipton, Biology of Belief: Change Subconscious Programs to Reprogram Your Mind

Recent posts that I've written that relate to the overarching themes here include:

Everything is Part of the Corporation

In regarding myself as the organism here, I like to play with both the micro and macro - knowing the big and the small of myself here as the organism....that in simplest, generalist perspective.....the Earth is the Organism...and we're all it here together.

Cheers to an Extraordinary 2018

Also been digging into this a lot recently, studying symbiotic relationships in nature has shown that the common notion of biological individuals is somewhat unfinished.

You should look up, if you like, a term being coined called "Holobiont" it's the idea that even an individual organism is really a complex working of many symbiotic pairs, pretty cool stuff there.

Thank you for sharing this with me @trismegistuz

Best Regards!

You are discovering a lot about this topic i am learning a lot too from your post keep sharing and researching :)

we are playing with all the aspects of life here :)

I once read a parable that reminds me of this... I found it! Hope you enjoy it. There is a bit more context on the source page.

"My friends," said he, "all the different parts of the body once refused to work, saying that they were tired of serving the stomach. The legs said: 'What is the use of running about from morning till night, merely to find food enough to fill it?'

" 'We won't work for that lazy stomach either!' said the hands and arms. 'Legs, if, you'll keep still, we won't move either.'

[85] " 'We are tired, too,' said the teeth. 'It is grind, grind, grind, all day long. The stomach can do its own work hereafter.'

"All the other parts of the body had some complaint to make about the stomach, and all agreed that they would not work any more to satisfy its wants. The legs ceased walking, the hands and arms stopped working, the teeth did not grind any more, and the empty stomach clamored in vain for its daily supply of food.

"All the limbs were delighted at first with their rest, and, when the empty stomach called for something to eat, they merely laughed. Their fun did not last very long, however, because the stomach, weak for want of food, soon ceased its cries. Then, after a while, the hands and arms and legs grew so weak that they could not move. All the body fell down and died, because the stomach, without food, could no longer supply it with strength to live.

"Now, my friends," continued Menenius, "this is just your case. The state is the body, the patricians are the stomach, and you are the limbs. Of course, if you refuse to work, and remain idle, the patricians will suffer, just as the stomach did in the story I told you.

"But, if you persist in your revolt, you will soon suffer also. You will lose your strength, and before long the body, our glorious Roman state, will perish." source
