Introduction
Hey, hey! This is @gabrielatravels, and I am pleased to bring you a brand new edition of #TravelDigest! ❤️
Today's post is going to take you on a virtual tour with stops at a monument in Venezuela, a church in Portugal, and a waterfall in Turkey. We also have the honourable mentions list, where you can get a few more travel postcards from Netherlands, Indonesia, Argentina, Philippines, and Spain, so don't forget to check these posts too! 😊
All featured posts are visible on the Editors Choice Map and upvoted by @worldmappin, our curation trail, and potentially @blocktrades. For more travel digests check out #traveldigest.

🥇 Visiting the “Flower of Venezuela” Monument in Barquisimeto [ENG/ESP] by @gpache
The most striking feature of this creative work is the movement of the petals, guided by a central hydraulic stem that functions like a giant umbrella, opening and closing. This movement is inspired by an orchid, which is our national flower.

🥈 Penafiel - Marecos - Igreja de St André / Riding Portugal by @onyfest
The church itself is quite sober. Light stone, simple lines, and few decorative elements. It's noticeable that there has been recent work in some areas, mainly on the side entrances and the cleaner finishes near the tower, but thankfully without detracting from the space's identity. The side staircase immediately caught my attention. It fits directly into the church's structure, almost like a natural continuation of the wall itself.

🥉 The Hidden Beauty of Esenler Village: Kurudere Waterfall / Esenler Köyünün Saklı Güzelliği: Kurudere Şelalesi ( EN-TR) by @passenger777
The waterfall here is one of those hidden waterfalls with natural pools and rocky steps, known mostly to the locals. In the village, this and many similar streams, rivers, and waterfalls are known only by the names given to them by the villagers. Kurudere, fed by a spring originating from the village’s high mountains, flows through slightly moss-covered rocks and cascades approximately 50 meters into a pool surrounded by lush greenery—a natural spring worth discovering for its beauty.
