Ulog 23: First Day High

Yup, it is still rainy but I can already hear the sound of the pot whistling forcing me to wake up. I remember I should be up to cook breakfast for my little one. But there is nothing else I needed to do at the kitchen, hubby prepared it already. Aw!

CORNSILOG

CORN for corned beef sauteed in onion and garlic.
SI for sinangag - fried rice.
LOG for itlog - sunny side-up egg.

####First Day High
I had no trouble waking up my little one. She woke up before the alarm clock rang actually. She was all smiling though still groggy. She prepared a checklist for herself just so she won't forget anything - as she tells me when I inquired what she was doing before going out of the door.

I almost forgot to take a picture but she reminded me to take a photo of her before going to school. So it is.

####Welcome Dreamers

I like that bulletin board of the school welcoming its students, them being dreamers, the school aiding in dreambuilding.

Their morning exercises, kids really are all excited.

####Old But New
She is still in her old school. But something is new. Different feel to the familiar place. New building built, new classrooms, new teachers, new canteen.

Happy and excited, their class is housed in the newly built classroom.

But they still have their old mango tree.

Saw fellow parents and it was nice seeing them again. It was also nice to see a fellow Steemian @dianafigura along with my sister @juwel.

After the class, the kids were just so giddy and playing along.

First day high.
