Maybe its not changing the 50/50 scale but rather where that other 50 goes.

Lets say I vote this content 20POB, You as the author get 10 and I get 0. Where is the other 10?
Well the 10 would go to the same place where a Down Vote (DV) would direct it to be. A DV would just be 100/0 to the platform.

This would really motivate authors to try harder at their content and to encourage more reading and engagement in the comments.
Another thing.
Ok (using the above example i just gave), lets say that the other 50% that didn't go to the author gets another 50/50 split. So 5POB to the platform/pool and the other 5 goes to helping new users with whatever they need.
This would IMO(In my opinion) remove excessive power from the whales and give smaller accounts a better chance at having a life here.
Let me know what pros and cons you see with this idea. I am curious to read them.
I also think this would remove some of the circle jerking that apparently is non existent in the eyes of the beehodler elites.
Let's be honest, another being telling you and pointing out your flaws as a jerk would just be scrutinized and rejected by the jerk. It's not like a DMT experience where your flaws and egotistical bs is pointed out by nature itself and you just accept and give in to truth.
This is why I don't like pointing out others flaws but asking questions instead. (Socratic Method)

I left the hivewatchers discord chanel for the same reasons.
I was put in timeout for helping first time abusers by asking questions and pointing out their behavior flaws. They dare not take me out of "timeout" so I just left instead. To me they are no different than politicks and police wannabees. Despite their efforts to do good on the platform, I don't agree with their method of engagement on a social level. They are children in adult bodies and lack ethnicity and moral teachings. but thats just me.
