El dÃa de las madres es muy especial y se hace para honrar a la mujer que nos dio la vida, a todas esas buenas madre que cada dÃa hacen lo mejor para criar a sus hijos y en nuestra iglesia o parte de ella querÃamos homenajear a las madres que hacen vida allà y a nosotras también que somos madres, asà que tomamos un dÃa de la semana para agasajar a todas las que hacemos vida en iglesia en Casa que es parte de la iglesia.
En nuestra reunión invitamos varias personas y familias que querÃamos que asistieran, asi que también habian personas mayores que se divirtieron mucho es esta pequeña recepción, esta reunión estuvo cargada de risas, amor y mucha familiaridad, hubo un rincón para fotografÃas que decoramos con motivo del dÃa de las madres, y allà muchas nos tomamos fotografÃas, estas fotos me encantaron quedaron hermosas.
Tuvimos un momento de reflexión por parte de la pastora y luego comenzó la fiesta a las madres y hubo una actividad muy buena, fue el juego de las chanclas, se trataba de tirar la chancla y darle a un objeto que en este caso era un pequeño pote de agua, esto asemeja a las madres que le tiran las chanclas a sus hijos, la que le diera primero se ganaba un regalo, y habÃan dos regalos para ello, pasaron como 8 primero y ninguna le daba, padre yo y que ca ni cerca, hasta que pasó una amiga que me acompaño, fue la primera en darle y luego de ella otra, asà que ambas ganaron un regalo.
Luego vino el juego de la papa caliente que no puede faltar, y nunca habÃa jugado con una persona que tiraba al cuerpo la bomba que hasta golpeaba, me pareció muy mal eso jeje, pero lo bueno de este juego es que ganó una señora de casi 80 años, y ella estaba muy emocionada me encantó que dijo que tenÃa más de 40 años que no jugaba este juego, y ella se sintió tan feliz que su rostro lo reflejaba todo.
También hubo juego de mÃticas entre otros, además de regalos para todas, y muchos pasapalos que entre todos llevamos para compartir, creo que estábamos como 30 personas aproximadamente, aunque en la foto algunos ya se habÃan ido, es increÃble lo bien que la pasamos, todas estábamos felices y lo mejor es que sobro bastante comida para dejarle a la dueña de la casa.
Pasamos una noche divertida entre madres, una noche que tenÃa tiempo no pasaba divirtiendome con juegos que nos recuerdan parte de la infancia, que bueno es poder vivir con alegrÃa, a nosotras las madres también nos encanta divertirnos.

Mother’s Day is a very special day set aside to honor the woman who gave us life—all those wonderful mothers who do their very best every day to raise their children. In our church, or rather as part of our church, we wanted to pay tribute to the mothers who are active there, as well as to us who are mothers ourselves, so we set aside a day of the week to celebrate all of us who are part of the church at Casa, which is part of the church.
At our gathering, we invited several people and families we wanted to attend, so there were also older adults who had a great time at this small reception. The gathering was filled with laughter, love, and a warm, family-like atmosphere. We set up a photo corner decorated for Mother’s Day, and many of us took pictures there—I loved these photos; they turned out beautiful.
The pastor gave a brief reflection, and then the Mother’s Day celebration began. There was a really fun activity—the flip-flop game. The idea was to throw a flip-flop and hit a target, which in this case was a small jar of water. which symbolized moms throwing flip-flops at their kids. Whoever hit it first won a prize, and there were two prizes up for grabs. About eight people went first and none of them hit it—man, I wasn’t even close—until a friend who was with me went up. She was the first to hit it, and then another person after her, so they both won a prize.
Then came the classic game of hot potato, which is a must, and I’d never played with someone who threw the potato at people’s bodies—it even hit them. I thought that was really mean, haha, but the great thing about this game is that a woman in her late 70s won, and she was so excited. I loved that she said she hadn’t played this game in over 40 years, and she was so happy that her face showed it all.
There were also some classic games, among other things, plus gifts for everyone, and lots of snacks that we all brought to share. I think there were about 30 of us, although some had already left by the time the photo was taken. It’s amazing how much fun we had—we were all happy—and the best part is that there was plenty of food left over to give to the hostess.
We had a fun night among moms—a night I hadn’t spent in a long time having fun with games that remind us of our childhood. It’s so nice to be able to live with joy; we moms love to have fun, too.
