간밤에 미국이 기준금리를 내렸습니다. 2.25%~2.5%에서 2.0%~2.25%로 0.25% 내렸습니다.

1년 기준금리 추이

10년 기준금리 추이

2008년 금융위기 이하 장기간 제로 금리를 유지해 오던 미국은 2016년 경부터 금리 상승을 시작해 2.5%까지 올렸습니다. 그 후 첫번째 금리 인하입니다.

30년 기준금리 추이

약 30년의 추이입니다. 기준금리가 10%를 넘고 20%까지 도달한 적도 있으나, 앞으로 그러한 가능성은 굉장히 희박할 것이고, 저금리 시대가 지속될 거로 보입니다.
