I feel excited about the new year because it's full of planning, possibilities, and great expectations, maybe I'll say it's my favorite time of the year cause I see how people get excited crossing over to the new year, the connection it creates among people, the hugs and cheers. I love making New Year's resolutions, turning a fresh page, and getting off to a new start.
The new year allows reflection, indeed this year has been an amazing one, personally, this year has been awesome despite the ups and downs, the challenges at certain stages, and the thoughts of giving up that flow through my mind giving me sleepless nights, the feeling of not having what I've always wanted in all of these things I feel grateful seeing the year coming to an end.
What I will be doing this weekend to make next year better, it's an interesting question Thankfully I'm alone in the house this weekend, It is a great time for me because I get to reflect on the past months of the year and look back at what I have accomplished how I spent every of my time, the activities I engaged in the most if it was worth the time or I needed to make some changes regarding that.
The end of the year is always a time for me to take a natural pause to enable me to reflect on things I've achieved so far, not just in my career but my personal growth as well, I can grow in my career but remain stagnant in other areas of my life, I wouldn't want that, also the mistakes I made in 2023 I don't wanna repeat any in the new year they say a mistake repeated twice is a decision.
This weekend is all about having a quiet time to myself to position myself for the year ahead for better experiences, growth, and possibilities. Special appreciation to @galenkp For always coming up with these interesting topics for us to share our thoughts on.
