I just started playing about 4 days ago and have been getting my ass handed to me big time. Only learnt about renting cards and have been getting some wins.
I received like 137 credits, ended up wasting it on some Chaos Legion packs...should have just saved it up to buy single cards. Stupid idiot move lol. Hoping that i will get some credits in 10 days time.

Congrats on starting this awesome game first of all. I mean opening packs isn't that bad you have a positive EV as long as you use 5/5 potions. But in general economic theory (even aggressive one's like kelly criterion) would sway you from using too much of your limited bankroll in high variance assets. What league are you playing in? You probably get like 30-50 credits on average in that timeframe.

I'm currently hovering around novice and bronze 3. I haven't many cards, so i'm just getting my fuck kicked outta me lol. I have a few cards, and some credits, but am just holding onto what i can get for rent, and holding onto being in B3 for now...i need them damn loot chests.

You have to get out of bronze3, just getting 1 chest for you daily quest is insufficent. Use https://splinterlabs.io/faucet to get a couple DEC and then rent a Lora Shine sneak deck to get into bronze 1 or better silver 3. If you need help what to rent, I'll give you list.
