It is pleasant having to participate again for this week 161 of Hive Afri Tunes I am zoepat who is here today with this particular song I love so much for many years now and would love to sing here, pouring out my heart to God, because why not, since I have an awesome God for just mare mortal man like me.
I want to say few things I love about this amazing song.
It's just simply amazing and heart touching, describing a supreme being who decided to lavish love on a mortal man who at some point don't truly worth it.
Singing the songs brings a soft reminder to my spirit that I can never pay for all he has done but rather I can do little by rendering genuine worship unto him.
And lastly, This particular line that says, "Totally Man and Totally God". God was first God in all his Majesty and power but because he created man, so much loved man, he then decided to make himself man despite being a God. He didn't just sit in his throne of honour but step down so low, bearing the burdens and pains of man. He did not thought it wise to take so much glory on himself but stood without reputation just to restored mankind to himself.
I have a simple question to ask.
*What God on Earth has ever done this aside the God of the heaven?
One thing I learnt so well about this song is that, no matter the level one attain in life, don't leverage on it the wrong way by feeling yourself superior to every other persons. If God could bring himself so low, then who are you to exalt yourself beyond other because of power or position.
I learned to stay humble, love at all time and give glory back to God because he alone is worthy of my praise, honour, adoration, and deserves it 100 percent.
