Hello HIVERS

Every time we close our eyes it is worth asking ourselves if we are really living in the world where we believe, and better yet, in the world where we want.

Today I bring you my first micro story of this year, I hope you like it.

Hola HIVERS

I dream that I am awake - micro story

Diana, put on her checkered suit that day, smelled of the mothballs she had placed months ago in her closet so that the insects wouldn't damage her clothes, a cold breeze came through the window that half showed a gray sky that promised a rainy day.

She went down the stairs, little by little she was feeling the aroma of coffee that surely her grandmother had already prepared; her grandmother always stopped before everyone else, she did an endless number of things before dawn, Diana had always felt that her grandmother's days had more hours than everyone else's.

After drinking the coffee, she opened the door and remembered that she didn't have her umbrella with her, she went back to get it, just at that moment she received a notification on her phone, she had to respond.

Little by little thousands of sounds and signs were taking over her agenda, Diana started to feel that she was suffocating, she felt that she was entering a slow dimension where everyone was due but her, even though she tried to answer or post quickly, she felt that it was becoming infinitely endless, she just wanted to go out and breathe, she just wanted to go out and take a walk; look at the trees, listen to the birds.

Diana felt dizzy, she could breathe less and less, she felt that her world was pressing her to the point that she no longer knew who she was, so when she had a little strength she took her cell phone and threw it as far as she could from the window, the sound of the broken screen made her feel an inexplicable freedom.

It was 6 a.m., the sound of the alarm of Diana's Android woke her up, with sadness she noticed that everything had been a dream, she answered the first whatsaap, placed a picture of her coffee and sighed knowing she was prey to a perpetual illusion from which she would never know how to wake up.

A hug for you
