These were taken late one night from an old hotel on the Costera near Caleta after dropping off a friend. I've been here 3 years but I still haven't seen the city from every angle!
The area in this photo and a little beyond are known as Caleta which is currently the hood or bad neighborhood in Acapulco. The rent is cheap there for awesome houses but the cartel members seem to like it there too for the same reason. Its nice to visit though!
The area across the water is Caleta too, that was where all the old movie stars hung out but that was when most of the bay was still empty. Acapulco has changed much since this place was the place to be.
