Last night I had accidentally fell asleep with my phone on silent so I woke up a little late today. I missed a call or two but still made a few deliveries which is all I expected during the middle of the week.
I had some free time in between orders and was close to Lake Ronkonkoma so I stopped by. While there I snapped a few photos quick and walked around to get a few more steps in. The lake's rumored to be haunted. The story claims that a Native American woman who was in love with an English settler drowned herself because her father forbid their relationship. Each year she takes a man's life in vengeance. It's crazy because someone does die there just about once a year, spooky! It's also rumored there's a worm hole/warp hole of sorts at the bottom of the lake that transports things to Maine...a few states north. Either way it's a pretty spot to stop for lunch.
My rank went up 2 points. I've been updating daily again & trying to interact with Actifit users more. I guess it's working!

Both men and women swim in the lake and both have perished there as well. I suppose the legend is just told that way because it fits the storyline. The wormhole thing is really farfetched, but some people say that things or animals have sunk into the lake and emerged from a riverbed a few states north. Sounds fake, but who knows?
