I would not try to use Actifit counter to measure such things as it doesn't measure distance like any GPS watch or running app.
Actifit counter measures phone swinging and phone wanking movements. That's why some users in the top ranking of Actific have 40k points just for walking. Basically, they cheat by swinging the phone in their hand all day.
