This is a bit ridiculous but it's actually a process I have to go through before I can go home. It started with my departure country, where I have to prepare a few documents to get on a plane. Then continue again at Thailand's airport where I have to.
1 ) Temperature check and COVID19 declaration
2 ) Document check
3 ) Wait till the bus arrive and we and our luggage got sprayed before getting on the bus
4 ) Head somewhere I didn't know where
Oh! It's Grace hotel in Bangkok!
The government provide a place to stay for people who arrive with repatriation flight. Free lodging, free food and free healthy check 2 times during the 14 days that I have to be in a room and not coming out at all.
5 ) Once arrive at the hotel, again, temperature check. Step on alcohol.
6 ) Check in with all the travel and health document.
Now I have to stay in a provided hotel for 14 days and not coming out of the room AT ALL unless it's the day for Covid check.
So over the top. Kinda fun to experience and kinda annoyed of by the process. Well, it is what it is and gotta do like Romans do when in Rome.
You're coming from America. The capital of Covid. Free lodging provided for you. In Australia we have to pay for quarantine costs. I think your time in America has influenced your perspective. Don't be entitled like a spoiled American.
