Hive went live on Friday, March 20th and I joined in directly from the beginning. I am sure there are so many Hiveans out there that I will befriend in the future. For those of you who want to learns more about me, here is my #introduceyourself post for you!
Hive ist seid Freitag, dem 20ten März online und Ich bin vom Anfang an dabei. Ich bin mir sicher, dass es viele Hiveans da draussen gibt, mit denen Ich mich in zukunft anfreunden werde. Für all jene, die mehr über mich lernen möchten, hier ist mein #introduceyourself post für euch!
I am an Astrochemist from Germany
So where do I start ? It is a bit difficult, as I have quite a lot of different interests which I would like to introduce to you within this post, but I will try. I will also try to cover those with some pictures that I take from the pool of all my post that are already here on steemit. I am 32 years old right now and was born in Poland, but I nearly lived my whole in Germany. I am a Scientist, studying Astrochemistry, and a big fan of traveling. I already visited nearly every country in Europe. In addition I traveled to the California, USA once for 4 month. Why did I travel there ? As I said I am an Astrochemist, and as one I was so damn lucky to work at JPL for a while, which I am really proud of.
Wo fange ich an? Es ist ein bisschen schwierig, da ich eine ganze Reihe unterschiedlicher Interessen habe, die ich Ihnen in diesem Beitrag vorstellen möchte, aber ich werde es versuchen. Ich werde auch versuchen alles mit einigen Bildern zu untermalen, die ich aus dem Pool von all meinem Beiträgen zusammenstelle die bereits hier auf Steemit sind. Ich bin jetzt 32 Jahre alt und in Polen geboren, aber ich habe fast mein ganzes Leben in Deutschland gelebt. Ich bin Wissenschaftler, studiere Astrochemie und reise wirklich gerne. Ich habe bereits fast jedes Land in Europa besucht. Außerdem war ich einmal für 4 Monate in Kalifornien, USA. Warum bin ich da gewesen? Wie gesagt, ich bin Astrochemiker und hatte so verdammt viel Glück eine Weile im JPL zu arbeiten, worauf ich wirklich stolz bin.

I love to travel, preferably in the snowy mountain ranges
As I said, I am also a big fan of traveling and already posted some travel blogs before that. I do like the harsh trips and prefer it when its cold, snowy, rainy, foggy, and somewhere far out of the reach of civilization ^^ Here you see me on my trip to the Wilderness of the Yosemite National Park. Nowadays I use this picture as my steemit profile picture.
Wie gesagt, ich bin auch ein großer Fan von Reisen und habe bereits einige Reiseblogs gepostet. Ich mag es richtig anstrengend und bevorzuge es, wenn es kalt, verschneit, regnerisch, neblig und irgendwo weit aabseits der Zivilisation ist ^^ Hier seht ihr mich auf meiner Reise in die Wildnis des Yosemite Nationalparks. I am a travel enthusiast in general and one of my favorite travel destinations are the Netherlands and Poland, my beautiful neighbor countries. I am also quite interested in old historical architecture.

I am a Reenactor and History-Nerd
As you might guess I am also very interested in history. Actually I was spending a lot of time as a reenactor. I tailored my own equipment, including my amazing longbow and even participated in the historical Battle of Hastings once, for sure my greatest moment in live history.
Wie ihr vielleicht schon vermutet, bin ich auch sehr an Geschichte interessiert und habe viel Zeit als Reenactor verbracht. Ich habe meine eigene Ausrüstung, einschließlich meines tollen Langbogens, zusammengewerkelt und sogar einmal an der historischen Schlacht von Hastings teilgenommen, mit Sicherheit mein größter Moment in der Live-Geschichte.

I love Cats and Nature and to picture them
One of my biggest interest lies in nature. I really like cats, they are sooooo cute and I thing everyone should have some. Here are my little cuties Jeremy and Nami.
Eines meiner größten Interessen liegt in der Natur. Ich liebe Katzen, sie sind so niedlich und jeder sollte einige haben. Hier sind meine kleinen Suessen, Jeremy und Nami.

But to be honest, as amazing animals are for me, botanics are my favorite. After I was dicovered by @brittandjosie and introduced into the Steemterminal where I learned so much about steemit, formating posts and much more. They were all doing so interesting and amazing blogs that I was inspired in the end to start out with my #botanicalgardentours, that already features 28 different entries about various plants which I present in this blog, one each time.
Aber um ehrlich zu sein, wie wunderbar Tiere für mich auch sind, ist die Botanik mein großer Favorit. Nachdem ich von @brittandjosie entdeckt und in das steemterminal eingladen worden bin, lernte ich so viel über Steemit, das Formatieren von Posts und vieles mehr. Sie alle machte so interessant und erstaunliche Blogs, dass ich mich am Ende dazu inspirieren ließ, mit meinen #botanicalgardentours loszulegen. Diese beinhalten bereits 21 verschiedene Einträge zu verschiedenen Pflanzen welche ich jedes Mal präsentiere.

I am hosting the AMAZING NATURE COMMUNITY and the Amazing Nature Contest
It went even so far that I started to host the Amazing Nature Contest once a week. Where I invite all the participants from all over the world to present amazing nature content from different perspectives and out of various motivations in a weekly compilation so that can all of you can admire the beauty that we are facing all the time, but so often are not able to appreciate in the modern times we are living in. Nowadays I also created the AMAZING NATURE COMMUNITY. It is dedicated to all you Nature Lovers out there, no matter if Zoology, Botany, Landscapes or Philosophy, and I already grew into a big and beautiful community which I am super proud of ^^ This community is there FOR ALL POSTS ABOUT THE AMAZING NATURE AROUND YOU.
Es ging sogar so weit, dass ich einmal pro Woche anfing den Amazing Nature Contest auszurichten. Wo ich alle Teilnehmer aus der ganzen Welt einlade, erstaunliche Naturinhalte aus verschiedenen Perspektiven und aus verschiedenen Beweggründen in einer wöchentlichen Zusammenstellung zu präsentieren, so dass Sie alle die Schönheit bewundern können, der wir die ganze Zeit gegenüberstehen, aber so oft nicht in der Lage sind, in der modernen Zeit, in der wir leben, zu schätzen. Ich habe auch die AMAZING NATURE COMMUNITY erstellt. Diese ist allen Naturliebhabern da draußen gewidmet, egal ob Zoologie, Botanik, Landschaften oder Philosophie, und is bereits zu einer großen und Gemeinschaft herangewachsen, auf die ich super stolz bin ^^

Amazing Nature Contest
I like to mix all this interest together sometimes
There is another thing that I really enjoy on steemit. It is the wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay. This is such a amazing thing to follow and tl watch each week. And I can kind of use it as a wonderful excuse to merge all my interest together into a single great post on a Wednesday. Here I show a example of how I like to mix nature, earth history, botanic, "time"travel and some critical words.
Es gibt noch eine andere Sache, die ich auf Steemit sehr mag. Es ist der wednesdaywalk von @tattoodjay. Dies ist so eine erstaunliche Rubrik der ich jede Woche folge. Und ich kann es irgendwie als wunderbare Ausrede benutzen, um meine gesamten Interesse an einem einzigen großartigen Tag zusammenzuführen. Hier zeige ich ein Beispiel dafür, wie ich Natur, Erdgeschichte, Botanik, "Zeitreisen" und einige kritische Worte mische.

Did I miss something ? Hehe, I am also a proud father. So far it is only one amazing son, but it us just a question of time till the family will be growing further one day. I always try to show my family only from the back as I do not want to expose them here, but here I was traveling with them to the sea. Can you guess where too ?
Habe ich etwas verpasst ? Hehe, ich bin auch ein stolzer Vater. Bisher ist es nur ein Sohn, aber es ist nur eine Frage der Zeit bis die Familie weiter wächst. Ich versuche immer meine Familie nur von hinten zu zeigen, da ich sie hier nicht der Öffentlichkeit aussetzen möchte. Hier bin ich mit ihnen zum Meer gereist. Könnst ihr erraten wo?

Oh, experience is actually not a prerequisite ^^ .. The love for nature and the will to comment on post that you like from time to time is all that is needed ^^ so you actually bring everything with you already that is great for it 😉 .. This is not for finding great photographs but more about appreciation to those who focus on the message behind their pictures. You have quite an eye for that 👀

Mike, "highly educated" can mean more than a degree in astrophysics, though I admit, that's extraordinary and awesome (I couldn't even hack high school physics in the late 1970s, before school got so much harder).
@adalger, Welcome to Steemit! I'm so glad you were dicovered by @brittandjosie and that you're so active here now. And hosting contests! Encouraging others to appreciate the wonders of nature and share here what we all see in our different parts of the world. My sister and her three daughters live in Germany - the one granddaughter is a nature girl through and through. @mysticmaya seems to have abandoned Steemit but maybe she'll find her way back and share nature photos. Thank you for your participation and encouragement of others (vielen Dank!).

The battle of Hasting!! Oh! That place gave me and my friends the creep many years ago! They took me there for sightseeing in the afternoon without telling me anything about the place. I felt so many spirits there and they did feel spooky too as the sun was setting! Too many ghosts and strange vibes gave me disturbing dreams. Later I realised what that place had been through!!
I won’t go back there again!

That place for sure hosts the strangest and some of the most powerful spirits of the middle ages to it! A lot of anger is still around there for sure. The rise of each empire is based on blood and pain and this place saw a lot of it.
