Like flower bikes? Wait what? Yeah, you heard that right, Amsterdam has a place for you too... Thanks to the 'Flower bike man'.
Amsterdam in general is a bike city. People in general have a love affair with their bikes . One of the most offensive things a tourist can do to a local Amsterdam(er?) is walk in a bike lane. 'Flower bike man' has taken the love affair even further and this post is dedicated to him.
'Flower bike man' or Warren Gregory is a man from Amsterdam who started decorating bikes for his wife who suffered from epilepsy and had a memory lapse due to this. He since then has decorated many more bikes and put them around the city of Amsterdam. A man who has had several personal tragedies just keeps creating. One may call him the Bansky of flower bikes, this is because his bikes often get stolen and the only response he has is, "it's just a bike". It's just a bike for him, but his creation has become iconic in Amsterdam and one may often find themselves strolling through the lanes and completely mesmerized by his creation. Art is what exists within you and without you.
