Among so many things I had forgotten to post about a visit I made to Tiuna the fort.
The idea of visiting this incredible cultural park was with the purpose of valuing architecture, in the case of VidaVerde the organization in which I am Co-creator with my partner who is the creator of this wonderful project of regenerative organization. In our project we have 2 groups of architects who have been in charge of designing this beautiful proposal to try once again to save.
Tiuna el fuerte was designed by the architect Alejandro Haiek, recognized for his great works in Venezuela and abroad, Haiek is in charge of Labprofab, in his work Tiuna el fuerte he designed a cultural park with more than 3000 square meters which are full of maritime containers that were adapted to generate spaces for artistic creation such as graphic design studios, audio visual studios, amphitheaters for performing arts, cafe, graffiti store. The work is more than 10 years old and for us it is very important to hear from the artists themselves how the structures have behaved over time, in our project we have decided to build with maritime containers so it is essential to know all the advantages and disadvantages of this type of construction.
The other architectural group is called Entrenos atelier and is directed by Alejandro Vallejo architect of Costa Rican origin, expert in architectural designs with fallen wood, another of the materials that we would like to have present in the design of our ecovillage.
In general terms the project is almost ready, we need to polish more strategies to start construction as we feel from the team that there is no time to lose. Climate change requires the effort of everyone in this sense we faithfully believe that we are part of it.
