Oct. 22, 20: Xbox, Walking, BROS Burn Win, and Games

Made it all the way till quarter of six today and only a half an hour short! Cause for celebration, I suppose! 🥳

Morning routine was usual, except BTC still getting nice follow through and still looking bullish. Got a slight pullback, but didn’t dump, could be a good sign. It’s already hitting new all-time highs in Brazil and Iran and there’s more rumors that PayPal is looking to acquire the bitcoin custody company BitGo, which seems to be further fueling the FOMO.

Tried to get my BLURT from blurtlink, but didn’t have the liquid to make a comment. I bought one on HE and sent it over to pay for the comment and it just skipped right over me! 😡🤬 I finally DM’d him and got some back.

Speaking of HE tokens, today was the end of the BROS burn contest. Eco took the big chunk, but I only needed six BRO to break even and I ended up with twenty, so that rocks!!!! 🤑 Spent thirty HIVE and made a hundred worth back!

Sounds like they may do another one...hope so, as much as I hate burning tokens, that was fun! Next time there’ll probably be a lot more people involved now that it’s gone through once.

Chatted quite a bit over on Discord and snagged some seriously nice airdrops in the Tip.cc server. 🤑

I played a little Xbox today, ok, I killed most of the day with that. I went down to the library for the first time since the lockdowns (lots of plastic barriers everywhere and you can’t touch anything 😡). Still, returned the two games that I had and wasn’t really playing anymore and got two new ones.

I got Age of Wonders Planetfall, which is basically Civ or Starcraft or Warcraft, more or less Starcraft, that I played for a bit and got bored with already. To be honest, I played the tutorial and practice worlds, so it might be more interesting in the actual campaign...

And Resident Evil 3. Of course I’ve played the first two and some other spinoffs, but this one is pretty new and I hadn’t played it yet. Popped a couple of the first cheevos and am likely to play it through before I go back to the other one; I mean, Resident Evil, amiright?

Used the opportunity of going to the library to get a short walk in; well, ok, not a walk, a stroll. 😜

Not exactly too nice out, but not raining, so that’s something.

No sunshine for you! I think we’re supposed to get a few nicer days coming up here, though.

Didn’t see too much on my walk except for a bunch of chickens and ducks that were running around over in the neighbor’s yard. They weren’t very happy I stopped to take a picture. 😂

On the way back I headed over to Mom’s place and helped her move some new chairs she bought but couldn’t get out of the car and chatted with her for a while.

Didn’t get all to much done otherwise, mostly installing and playing the new games. Kinda’ felt the urge to work on my project, but didn’t fire up the computer at all. 🤭

Made myself some nachos and salsa for dinner and then Wenche put on some Man with a Plan, but we ended up burning through all of that. Time to find something new to watch...

She put on some kind of British movie that didn’t really grab my attention and fell asleep shortly into that.

Schaweet! Another day of smooth sailing in my dCity. The taxes have come down even further as well, so getting a nice little bump of SIM each day. Unemployment is starting to be an issue again, so got to look into getting them something to do!

Also got all my Holybread tasks done. 🤩 Been doing ok in the arena, at least enough to get the three, and already have enough gold for one potion refill.
