Practice what you preach

"It is not as if there are no individuals in the world who are well versed in sacred texts like Bhagavatha, but whatever they may have learnt and whatever be their scholarship, if they cannot put into practice at least a fraction of what they have learnt, they will simply be wasting their time. All scholarship and knowledge is useless if it is not accompanied by practice.

Think of this analogy: If a donkey carries some fragrant materials on its back, can it become an elephant? You may have the strength to teach others because you have learnt from so many books. However, whatever you learn will become utterly useless if it is not put into practice. Indeed, when thoughts, words, and actions are consistent, one is called a mahatma (a noble one). This is also described as ‘the proper study of mankind is man'"

Good quote brother, I love the analogy on thoughts and practice!I always think of the difference between a Karate or Wu Chung practitioner doing kata and punching the air, versus a MMA fighter that do drills every day practicing in a real fighting environment, when the adrenaline is pumping

I love the digital work you've done! And what you say to practice what is learned is very true, the body forgets what learned if we last too long without doing things is an important lesson of life, thanks for bringing us this beautiful work
