As an artist one of the best ways to get your art seen is by sharing and engaging on social media. Twitter in particular has an extremely active CryptoArt and NFT community so we want to help you get more visibility and followers, more engagement on your account and help you create a bigger network!
Connecting with other artists and collectors can open up a world of opportunities so in this blog post we will be giving some general tips about tweeting and also talk about how you can be featured on the NFT Showroom twitter account.
General tweeting tips
If you are tweeting art minted on NFT Showroom always tag @nftshowroom. We try to retweet as many of our artists as we can
Always insert the art directly into the tweet, it looks much nicer then the generated thumbnail and people can see it in full without clicking through to the link. This is especially salient if it is an MP4
Tell your story. The artist is just as important as the art and many collectors what to know who you are, what inspired the art and what meaning it has. Creating a twitter thread is a great way to add additional context to the art.
Support and engage other artists. This is often overlooked but as a community supporting other artists on the platform by liking/retweeting and especially commenting on their tweets helps boost visibility for everyone.
Getting featured on the NFT Showroom twitter
We believe that tweeting from your own account with your own words and story is essential to creating a good network but the NFT Showroom account has over 7k followers so we want to help you use it to your advantage for those extra special projects and drops! We also want to create weekly engagement tweets with challenges.
What kind of content we would like to tweet for you:
GENESIS ART: Your first mint on NFT Showroom is special and deserves a some eyes! We can either tease it in advance and tweet it out for you after it's tokenized!
A special upcoming art project or series you want us to tease / announce
How to participate
We have created a new discord channel #hype-tweets that is available to verified artists only! Drop the images and text you want us to tweet in the discord channel. If you would like us to add an MP4 to the tweet please add a google drive/ dropbox / mega link that we can access.
- You can also feel free to drop a link to a personal tweet you would like retweeted, good candidates for this are tweets about your overall portfolio that show an overview of your creations, or tweet threads including context for your art
This room is visible to verified artists only, if you are a verified artist and don't have access just ask and we will add the role
Engagement tweets
Getting more eyes on nftshowroom.com will benefit all artists. We will be creating weekly engagement tweets with various requests and challenges to help you share more about yourself and your art. We have over 1500 artists and by working together we can make waves ♥️
