The Hard Fork is coming!
You may have heard that Hive has an upcoming Hard Fork (24), this will implement some upgrades to chain performance. The fork has been well tested on the testnet and has been expected to go through with very little interruption. You can read the Official post for more info.
Many Hive dapps and services have been preparing their nodes so there has been some intermittent slowness. On NFT Showroom the impact has been minimal but it is possible that we may see some edge cases. If you are experiencing anything strange please get in contact with us!

We are recommending that you refrain from minting art and making purchases right before and during the HF. Again, if all is smooth there are unlikely to be interruptions but as witnesses are switching over to new code there may be some delays! We will keep you updated during the transition.
New features
Bee Chat
Our on site chat system has been moved to Bee chat which can be added to any hive front end to create a more social experience across DAPPS!
It can be found in your messages tab and allows group chats and private messaging, feel free to jump into the NFT Showroom general chat and say hello!
New gallery filters for editions and recently updated prices
To improve user experience in searching for art we have added two new features.
The first is a filter for either Single (1/1) or multiple edition art!
The other update is geared towards the secondary market, when the price gets updated on art it will rise back to the top of search results when choosing recently updated. Since changing the price is free and unlimited we have implemented a system where the art will only move up in position once per day. This should hopefully keep fairness for the visibility of all sellers and keep the recently updated section fresh!
Editions minted visible on the art cards
Many collectors buy art based on rarity so in addition to adding the edition filter the total number of editions minted will be visible on each art card when viewed from the gallery!

Searchable names
The discovery search page now allows you to search by artist name! We still have plans to make improved artist discovery pages but this will eliminate the need to type the name directly into the URL:
