The Twenty-third Art Gallery Tour 2021
Hello all Art Lovers!
Autumn is here and so the art gallery tours. The weekend offered seven gallery visits, each of five of them on the opening day.
Gallery 54 starts this autumn with an exhibition by Laura Stasiulyte. An interview film can be seen and listened to. (see link further down in the mailing.)
Gallery Backlund has also opened the autumn exhibitions. This time a separate exhibition by Mats Åkerman. The last time he exhibited at Backlunds, we got to see stories taken from the Weak Union. Now he is back in this fictional world.
Gallery Engleson shows a group exhibition with six artists who are members of the Swedish Artists' Association.
Gallery Hammarén shows paintings by Karin Wikström. The last time she exhibited at Hammarén was in the spring of 2018. Karin's visual world is very personal with features of fables and myth.
Grafik i Väst shows graphics sheets by Jon Forssman. The exhibition lasts until October 6.
Göteborgs Konstförening shows works by two artists. The large gallery shows screen prints (monotypes) by Alexandra Hedberg the title is Apocalypse and in the inner room, small bronzes by Richard Damm, with the title sprung from.
This weekend's gallery visit ended on Sunday with a visit to gallery Låma with paintings by Ann-Jeanette Sjölander.

Hösten är här och likaså gallerirundorna. Helgen bjöd på sju galleribesök varav fem på vernissagedagen.
Galleri 54 startar hösten med en utställning av Laura Stasiulyte. En intervjufilm finns att se och lyssna på. (se länk längre ned i utskicket.)
Även galleri Backlund har öppnat höstens visningar. Denna gång en separatutställning av Mats Åkerman. Senast han ställde ut på Backlunds fick vi ta del av berättelser tagna ur den Svagiska Unionen. Nu är han tillbaka i denna fiktiva värld.
Hos galleri Engleson visas en grupputställning med sex konstnärer som är medlemmar i svenska konstnärsförbundet.
Galleri Hammarén visar målningar av Karin Wikström. Förra gången hon ställde ut hos Hammarén var våren 2018. Karins bildvärld är mycket personlig med drag av fabler och myt.
Grafik i Väst visar grafiskablad av Jon Forssman. Utställningen varar till den 6:e oktober.
Göteborgs Konstförening visar verk av två konstnärer. I det stora galleriet visas screentryck (monotypier) av Alexandra Hedberg titeln är Apokalyps och i det inre rummet, små bronser av Richard Damm, med titeln sprunget ur.
Helgens galleribesök avslutades under söndagen med ett besök hos galleri Låma med målningar av Ann-Jeanette Sjölander.
