Today Israel is marking it's annual Holocaust Memorial Day.
This one day a year when everybody are told to remember. I wish that the world would remember it much better, every day, because lately it seems that it had forgotten.
Forgotten how quickly hate leads to more hate.
How quickly mankind turns against each other.
How easy it is to turn the blind eye.
Please do not forget what humanity can do, where hate leads us.
Please remember.
Remember
And choose love.
This piece is a part of my series "Everybody Bleeds the Same", which I have created for the group exhibition Inclusion Exclusion, by the Salon Vienna group, for SOHO in Ottakring 2010, in Vienna.
The series includes 4 square images, each dealing with a different kind of racism: over religion, over colour, over language and over culture, using bodypainting as it's artistic medium.
