El extasis de Teresa de Avila / The ecstasy of Teresa de Avila.
I have always been very disturbed about the works made with marble, due to its complexity and the whole process that they took at the time. I particularly like to use it in practice for some of my drawings. Recently I went back to practice with gouache, and I found on Pinterest, where I am usually always looking for references, examples and all kinds of Things to paint.
Siempre me han inquietado mucho las obras hechas con marmol, por su complejidad y todo el proceso que ellas llevaron en su momento. Particularmente me gusta usarla en las practicas para algunos de mis dibujos. Hace poco volvi a practicar con el gouache, y encontre en Pinterest, donde por lo general siempre estoy buscando referencias, ejemplos y todo tipo de cosas para pintar.
This photograph is a part of the marble sculpture found in Rome (it would be strange if I didn't find it there, it is very Italian hahaha) in the Baroque style and was made by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
Esta fotografía es una parte de la escultura de mármol que se encuentra en Roma(Seria extraño que no encontrara alla, es muy italiana hahaha) de estilo barroco y fue hecha por Gian lorenzo Bernini.
Proceso/ Process
I spent two days exactly making the sketch, the face was not as complex as the folds of the tunic, the truth became somewhat tedious. Start painting your face little by little. The eyes look like two deep basins with many contrasts.
Estuve dos días exactamente haciendo el boceto, el rostro no fue tan complejo como los pliegues de la túnica, la verdad se me hizo algo tedioso. Comencé a pintar el rostro poco a poco. Los ojos se ven como dos cuencas profundas y con muchos contrastes.
You can subtly notice the error in the virgin's mouth, I did not measure well and the proportions were not quite accurate and that is why I stayed a little closer to the cheek.
Puede notarse sutilmente el error en la boca de la virgen, no medí bien y las proporciones no fueron de todo exactas y por eso me quedo un poco mas cerca de la mejilla.
The ecstasy of my virgin seems an episode of someone who is giving a stroke of those where people are left with a crooked mouth XD ahahha, bad joke, but I like to recognize the mistakes is my drawings, I always think I'm doing well when there is still a lot to improve.
El éxtasis de mi virgen parece un episodio de alguien que le esta dando un accidente cerebro vascular de esos donde las personas quedan con la boca torcida XD ahahha, mal chiste, pero me gusta reconocer los errores es mis dibujos, siempre creo que estoy haciendolo bien cuando aun hay muchísimo que mejorar.

This has been all my post and practice of the week. Before finishing I want to clarify some things about my Steemit publications, and my style of publishing. Previously I had the habit of placing my username in the drawings so that it was known that it was not plagiarism, because I do not know why I stopped doing it and that I have deleted old posts, some curators think that I may be plagiarizing or recycling old posts for earn money. Neither, my vision of steemit is this; a way to earn money while I learn to draw, since I upload drawings and although sometimes I think they are not so good, after spending some time I erase them, I have some insecurity towards my drawings and what I do, and I see this as a sample of practice. Nothing seemed more offensive to me than anyone might think that plagiarism or something like that is unpleasant. In the same way I say all this to clarify it, because I like to continue drawing and leaving my practices here.Bye :)
Este a sido todo mi post y practica de la semana. Antes de terminar quiero aclarar algunas cosas sobre mis publicaciones de Steemit, y mi estilo de publicar. Anteriormente tenia la costumbre de colocar mi nombre de usuario en los dibujos para que se supiera que no era plagio, debido a que no se porque deje de hacerlo y que he borrado post antiguos, algunos curadores piensan que puedo estar plagiando o reciclando viejos post para ganar dinero. Ninguna de las dos, mi vision de steemit es esta; una manera de ganar dinero mientras aprendo a dibujar, puesto que subo dibujos y aunque a veces pienso que no son tan buenos, luego de pasar un tiempo los borro, tengo cierta inseguridad hacia mis dibujos y lo que hago, y veo esto como una muestra de práctica. Nada me ha parecido mas ofensivo que alguien pudiera pensar que plageo o algo asi, es desagradable. De igual manero digo todo esto para aclararlo, porque me gusta seguir dibujando y dejando mis practicas aqui.Bye :)

Tienes que no solo citar y atribuir las fuentes, sino tambien mostrar la imagen en el post, para que asi los curadores y lectores puedan ver cual es el nivel de transformacion de interpretacion de la obra en la misma pestaña y sin forzarlos a abrir otra. Gracias.
