Hello to all!
Here again, today i share with you a recent creation, that resulted from a experiment that did not went as expected, as in so many things in my live, the constant flow of energy, information and motivation mixed with the circumstances, lead me to this drawing that i did not plan for, and so this one ended up being titled:
MIND BLEEDING MECHANISM

For this one i used a pen that i did some time ago, i did this pen from a reed that i catched on the side of a road during a strolling. At the time i had this desire to do another pen out of a reed, just like one i did years earlier, i remembered what i had done with that one, and also one of the drawings i had made using it, maybe someday i will post it here, if i find it again. for now i will show you some photos of this pen i did and used to create this drawing.
Wen i did this pen i had in my mind using it with china ink, i remembered that i had a big (250ml) bottle of "rotting" drawing ink that became mine as part of the heritage from a former employer Architect Margarida Vieira, i had kept this ink with the intent to use it in one form or another to create some sort of art, and felt it was time to put it to use. Although many years had pass i did not expect for the ink to be "out of date" and so it was a surprise for me wen, after struggling to get the ink out in to a flask, i managed to dip the tip of the pen in it and start drawing, immediately i notice that instead of a strong and solid black the ink was very diluted and instead of leaving a thin black line, it is absorbed by the paper kinda like watercolor, so after the first lines i begun to ponder and let my mind float in this gift from the past, this ink was like a distant memory, i expected it to be vivid but it was fainted, so i struggled once again, this time using my mind, hand and pen with the ink and paper to create this drawing that resembles some old mechanism or some form of construction, at some point wen drawing it, it came to my mind the colossal effort needed to erect all this civilizations, the countless sacrifices made, all the blood spilled in order to once again achieve this:
