Hello to all!
Today I'm presenting to you another freshly finished sketch, this time a ball-pen was the tool and a piece of common 70gr paper, the support, this one also came after some thoughts about the perception of reality, this became the basis and was something along this lines.
Perception is almost always misleading, for when something is perceive as being real, what is perceive is not the truth of the matter, but instead, a partial understanding of what has occurred, based on the knowledge gathered till that moment on the subject matter. This is why it's so important to maintain that "door" in the mind open to new knowledge, so that in every moment one can perceive reality, with the greatest chance possible of a better understanding.
When the door is locked, one can say that the light no longer reaches the knowledge on the matter, remaining this knowledge locked in the dark, it is transformed and becomes some kind of "dark creature" from that point on, casting shadows and influencing permanently, the perceiving reality on that matter; that is why in my opinion the door to knowledge should never be locked, cause by doing so one permanently disables the ability to achieve a better understanding on the matter.
This way if we unlock and open or reopen the "door" in the mind, this "dark creature" will emerge behind it and like a Troll will be turned to stone at the first ray of light, the stone troll is shattered to dust with the first breezes of thought, so as the dust settles and the doorway opens wide, clearing the way for new knowledge, that in turn will better the perception on the perceived matter.
With that in mind I've tried to visually represent this notion and did this sketch naming it:
UNLOCK THE DOOR
