About my work: These are universal archetypes that may be found deep inside our collective unconscious. While seemingly extraterrestrial and alien, they are also strangely familiar. It will take the viewer into an area that they might have been before in another existence or have entered in their dreams. It is a 'method in this madness' but everything arises by elimination of conscious guidance. The work grows seemingly by itself, like frost flowers on a windowpane.
Über meine Werke: Das sind universelle Archetypen, die tief im Inneren eines kollektiven Unterbewusstseins zu finden sind; während scheinbar ausserirdisch und fremd, sie sind gleichzeitig auch seltsam vertraulich. Ich nehme die Betrachter in ein Gebiet, das sie nur vorher noch in einer anderen Existenz, wie auch in Träumen, betreten haben. Es ist eine 'Methode in diesem Wahnsinn' doch entsteht Alles durch Ausschluss von bewusster Führung. Die Arbeit wächst scheinbar von alleine, wie Eisblumen auf einer Fensterscheibe.

Amazing body of work, @thermoplastic! I found this post thanks to @deerjay's resteem. While scrolling through your Flickr, the pieces POST-APOCALYPSE - DAY ONE, BOGOMILS OCULAR TOMB, and GENERAL PECKERWOOD IN PURGATORY were particularly eye catching to me. Best of luck with the exhibition!

Good luck with the exhibition! Funny that you reuse the weird landscape technique of Max Ernst. He is really an artist that I like!
I could see from your tags that you do not use the #creativecoin tag and others that might give you a little more crypto, but also would add your posts to something that might unite the steem artists. yeah, Max Ernst was right after Dali whom I looked for inspiration. I love his decalcomania (seen a lot a few years ago in Vienna at the Albertina). I adapted it to acrylics, which is harder to do than oil because they don't stay open very long, so you have to work very fast.
