Yea I grow beer in the cabbage patch. Who doesn't do that?
So what did I find?
A little Blonde Ale brewed by the Fiddlin' Fish Brewing Co. in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Fun Fact: If you are a big fan of NASCAR then you may be familiar with the Winston Cup Series that was the premier racing series from 1971-2003.

The Cup series was named for R J Reynolds Tobacco Company's best selling brand of cigarettes, WINSTON.

R J Reynolds Tobacco Co. is headquartered in Winston-Salem.
Another fun fact: the original R J Reynolds headquarters served as the model for the Empire State Building. New York just built it a tad bigger.
Now that is a fun fact!
But enough of the history of Winston-Salem, it is time to get out to my own personal beer garden for a nice cold blonde ale.
But I should note that this week I had a new visitor in the garden.
The hydrangea are beginning to bloom.
A blonde ale is usually a very light bodied, smooth beer without any overpowering hops, malts or bitterness.
A perfect beer for a hot summer day to quench your thirst.
Pours out well with a small head and lightly carbonated. Drinks smooth with just a hint of something that I can not really identify, perhaps fruit???
My only criticism of this Blonde Ale is that it went down way too fast.
Peace out and enjoy the weekend.
