Yea I found a lovely Pilsner brewed by Wooden Robot Brewery in Charlotte - North Carolina!
So what makes a good Pilsner?
A Pilsner is a lager beer noted for being a dry, hoppy, light bodied brew.
The aroma should be full of hops and the taste should be well balanced by the malt.

If you guessed Mecklenburg, you would be CORRECT. And although Charlotte is the largest city in North Carolina, Mecklenburg County comes in at second behind Wake County. Wake County is home to the state Capitol - Raleigh.

So off to my personal Beer Garden.
But wait, I did get a new visitor in the garden this week.
I have no idea what this plant is called but it is a monster reaching almost five feet in height!
Nice flowers though.
Ok, social studies and botany in a beer post, now on to the pour.
Pours with a well formed foamy head and lightly carbonated. Pops Pilsner is clear with a full golden color.
The aroma is of the hops. Drinks easy and is in fact dry, hoppy (but not IPA hoppy) with a nice little bit of bitters to it.
All in all a nice drink and an excellent Pilsner.
