Another week has passed and so @detlev started Beersaturday #166 already!
What a great reason to join in and have a nice refreshing beer on this hot summer day!
Eine weitere Woche ist vergangen und so hat @detlev bereits wieder den Beersaturday #166 gestartet!
Eine super Motivation, an diesem heißen Sommertag teilzunehmen und ein schönes erfrischendes Bier zu trinken!
¡Ha pasado otra semana y @detlev ya empezó Beersaturday #166!
¡Qué gran razón para unirse y tomar una cerveza refrescante en este caluroso día de verano!
But first things first. As Germany right now is a bit overcrowded by tourists, doing the BBQ at the lake or river is not an option right now. At least not if you want to relax during the time!
So the second option is doing it at home... but there it's so hot! Solution? -> buy a pool, built it, and create the perfect ambiance ourselves!
Aber das Wichtigste zuerst. Da Deutschland derzeit etwas von Touristen überfüllt ist, ist das Grillen am See oder Fluss derzeit keine Option. Zumindest nicht, wenn man sich währendessen entspannen möchte!
Die andere Option ist also, es zu Hause zu machen ... aber dort ist es einfach so heiß! Lösung? -> einen Pool kaufen, bauen und selbst das perfekte Ambiente schaffen!
Pero lo primero primero. Como Alemania en este momento está lleno de turistas, hacer la barbacoa en el lago o el río no es una opción. ¡Al menos no si quieres relajarte durante el tiempo!
Entonces la segunda opción es hacerlo en casa ... ¡pero allí hace tanto calor! ¿Solución? -> comprar una piscina, construirla y crear el ambiente perfecto nosotros mismos.
Said and done! We went right to the hardware store and bought a nice pool as a surprise for Elenas' family!
Then we drove all the way close to Ulm where they live in the middle of nature, waited until her Mum was gone, and started to unpack!
Gesagt, getan! Wir fuhren direkt zum Baumarkt und kauften einen schönen Pool als Überraschung für Elenas 'Familie!
Dann fuhren wir den ganzen Weg in die Nähe von Ulm, wo sie mitten in der Natur leben, warteten, bis ihre Mutter weg war, und begannen auszupacken!
¡Dicho y hecho! ¡Fuimos directamente a la ferretería y compramos una bonita piscina como sorpresa para la familia de Elena!
Luego condujimos hasta cerca de Ulm, donde viven en medio de la naturaleza, esperamos hasta que su mamá se haya ido y comenzamos a desempacar.
A good friend that lives close spontaneously also came by to help us, which was great and made it much easier, because you need at least 3 people to build that pool!
It has a diameter of 3,50meters and supposedly 8000l would fit when it was finished! - Such great facts to look forward to!
Ein guter Freund, der in der Nähe wohnt, kam spontan auch vorbei, um uns zu helfen. Das war großartig und hat es viel einfacher gemacht, denn man braucht mindestens 3 Leute, um den Pool aufzubauen!
Er hat einen Durchmesser von 3,50 Metern und angeblich passen 8000 l rein, wenn er fertig ist! - Das sind doch mal tolle Fakten, auf die man sich freuen kann!
*Un buen amigo que vive cerca de forma espontánea también vino para ayudarnos, lo cual fue genial y lo hizo mucho más fácil, ¡porque necesitas al menos 3 personas para construir esa piscina!

Once we had unpacked all the pieces, we started with step 1: Make a circle with these little blue plastic thingies and connect them!
Nachdem wir alle Teile ausgepackt hatten, begannen wir mit Schritt 1: Mache einen Kreis mit diesen kleinen blauen Plastik-Dingern und verbinde sie!
Una vez desempaquetadas todas las piezas, comenzamos con el paso 1: ¡Haz un círculo con estas cositas de plástico azul y conéctalas!
The second step was to spread the metal sheet out and click it into the plastic ring. It was not exactly the size we needed it to be, so we had to cut one of the plastic pieces to make it fit.
Der zweite Schritt bestand darin, das Blech auszubreiten und in den Kunststoffring zu klicken. Es entsprach nicht ganz genau der Größe, die wir brauchten, also mussten wir eines der Plastikteile schneiden, damit es passte.
El segundo paso fue extender la hoja de metal y hacer clic en el plástico. No era exactamente del tamaño que necesitábamos, así que tuvimos que cortar una de las piezas de plástico para que encajara.
Then we had to screw the metal sheet together to guarantee stability with so many liters of water.
Dann mussten wir das Blech zusammenschrauben, um die Stabilität bei so vielen Litern Wasser zu gewährleisten.
Luego tuvimos que atornillar la chapa para garantizar la estabilidad con tantos litros de agua.
In the fourth step, the pool tarpaulin came into play. We had to spread it out and let it look about 10 cm over the edge. To fix it first we took clothespins :)
Im vierten Schritt kam die Poolplane ins Spiel. Wir mussten sie ausbreiten und etwa 10 cm über den Rand schauen lassen. Um sie zu fixieren, haben wir Wäscheklammern genommen :)
En el cuarto paso entró en juego la lona de la piscina. Tuvimos que extenderla y dejar que pareciera unos 10 cm por encima del borde. Para apretarlo primero usamos pinzas para la ropa :)
Then the second plastic ring came on top. To do this, we first positioned all the parts around the pool.
Dann kam der zweite Plastikring darauf. Dafür positionierten wir erst einmal alle teile um den Pool.
Luego hicimos el segundo anillo de plástico. Para hacer esto, primero colocamos todas las partes alrededor de la piscina.
The fifth step consisted of connecting the plastic parts and attaching them to the metal sheet to fix the film and give the whole thing more stability.
Der fünfte Schritt bestand darin die Plastikteile zu verknüpfen und auf dem Blech zu befestigen, um die Folie zu fixieren und dem Ganzen mehr Stabilität zu verleihen.
El quinto paso consistió en conectar las piezas de plástico y pegarlas a la chapa para fijar todo y darle más estabilidad al conjunto.
After that, most of it was done! Now the "only" thing missing was the ladder. But that was more difficult than expected. It took us almost 40 minutes just for the last part! Both sides (inside and outside) first had to be screwed together separately, then be connected and finally fastened.
Danach war das Gröbste auch schon geschafft! Jetzt fehlte "nur noch" die Leiter. Das war aber schwerer als gedacht. Wir brauchten fast 40 Minuten nur für das letzte Teil! Man musste beide Seiten (innen und aussen) erst separat zusammenschrauben, dann verbinden und schliesslich befestigen.
Después de eso, ¡lo más dificil estaba listo! Ahora lo "único" que faltaba era la escalera. Pero eso fue más difícil de lo esperado. ¡Nos tomó casi 40 minutos solo para la última parte! Ambos lados (interior y exterior) primero tenían que atornillarse por separado, luego conectarse y finalmente sujetarse.
In the meantime, of course, we already let in the water to treat ourselves with well-deserved refreshments as soon as possible!
In der Zwischenzeit haben wir natürlich schon das Wasser eingelassen, um uns so schnell wie möglich eine wohlverdiente Erfrischung zu gönnen!
Mientras tanto, por supuesto, ¡ya dejamos entrar el agua para darnos un capricho lo antes posible con un merecido refresco!
When the ladder was ready, we could finally go into the pool! We also correctly placed the film inside and then had a little shower! - Really good! And a lot of fun!
Als dann auch die Leiter soweit war konnten wir endlich in den Pool! Wir verteilten innen auch nochmal die Folie richtig und spritzten uns erst einmal gegenseitig mit dem Schlauch ab! - Richtig gut! Und sauviel Spass!
Cuando la escalera estuvo lista, ¡finalmente pudimos entrar a la piscina! ¡También colocamos correctamente todo en el interior y luego nos duchamos un poco! - ¡Realmente bueno! ¡Y con mucha diversión!
I even had to escape and hide in a shadow place after that haha

Incluso tuve que escapar y esconderme en un lugar de sombra después de eso jaja
Elena's mother was amazed when she arrived. Not only did we pay her a surprise visit, but we also bought a pool, set it up, and of course, got everything for the BBQ! That's what I call a successful surprise!
Elenas Mutter kam bei ihrer Ankunft aus dem Staunen nicht heraus. Nicht nur hatten wir ihr einen Überraschungsbesuch abgestattet, sondern auch einen Pool gekauft, aufgebaut und natürlich alles für den BBQ besorgt! Das nenne ich mal eine gelungene Überraschung!
La madre de Elena se sorprendió cuando llegó. No solo le hicimos una visita sorpresa, sino que también compramos una piscina, la instalamos y, por supuesto, ¡conseguimos todo para la barbacoa! ¡Eso es lo que yo llamo una sorpresa exitosa!
After 3.5 hours of work in the blazing sun, we had earned our food and drinks! We splashed around in the pool a little longer and then turned on the grill. Meanwhile, Elena prepared a bulgur salad, mixed salad, and several dressings. It's so nice to live with a professional cook 😎
Nach 3,5 Stunden Arbeit in der prallen Sonne hatten wir uns Kost und Trank auch reglich verdient! Wir planschten noch ein wenig im Pool herum und warfen dann den Grill an. Elena bereitete derweil einen Bulgursalat, gemischten Salat und mehrere Dressings vor. Es is einfach richtig nice mit einer professionellen Köchin zusammenzuleben 😎
Después de 3,5 horas de trabajo bajo el sol abrasador, ¡nos habíamos ganado nuestra comida y bebidas! Chapoteamos un poco más en la piscina y luego encendimos la parrilla. Mientras tanto, Elena preparó una ensalada de bulgur, ensalada mixta y varios aderezos. Es tan agradable vivir con una cocinera profesional 😎
Pepe was our self-proclaimed grill master and did a great job! We had all kinds of German grill sausages, meat, and vegetables.
Pepe war unser selbsternannter Grillmeister und lieferte einen super Job ab! Wir hatten sämtliche deutsche Grillwürste, Fleisch und Gemüse.
Pepe era nuestro maestro asador autoproclamado e hizo un gran trabajo. Teníamos todo tipo de salchichas alemanas a la parrilla, carne y verduras.
And then the meal was served! The perfect reward for a perfect summer day! You can imagine the rest of the day ;)
Und dann war das Essen angerichtet! Die perfekte Belohnung für einen perfekten Sommertag! Den restlichen Verlauf des Tages könnt ihr euch ja denken ;)
¡Y luego se sirvió la comida! ¡La recompensa perfecta para un día de verano perfecto! Puedes imaginar como siguió el resto del día ;)

It was a lot of fun! And now we have our private relaxing place for the rest of the summer ❤️🙏
Yes, we take a bucket and scoop it out for a few hours, but should be easy 😉 - No just kidding! The pump and filter are included. It's easy to pump out the water, once winter arrives 😉

I have had many dogs in my life and the dogs that bit the children's pool was in a previous marraige.
One was a breed between a von Sophia Rottweiler and a Doberman Pinscher and the other one was a Staffordshire Terrier.
Our current little guy is one of the bigger sized Chihuahua's. His name is Troy and he thinks that he is a Lion hahaha.

Here he is and he lives under my seat wherever I sit hahaha.

Ah yes! If they have to move, the pool will have to stay behind, as it is regarded as a fixture.

Well, we needed 3,5hrs to finish everything including the ladder. But doing that we already started to fill it up 😉, It took around 2 hrs. We started building it up at 9 and could start swimming around 13:30pm 👍🙂 Yes, it was nice to enjoy the refreshing water and being with friends without having big crowds of people around us! Glad you liked the post and thanks for stopping by @revisesociology 👍🙂🙏
