Hello beer tasters!
Today I have one steampunk style beer to taste with slogan: Let's oil the gears of life!
Imperial IPA
As I wrote above, steampunk stylish beer means (for me) the design of the cans (I really don't imagine beer with some kind of machine oil, haha).
Imperial IPA is brewed by Privatbrauerei Eichbaum, Mannheim, Germany for the Lidl shops.
Btw: interesting detail or maybe not - Lidl is in Europe one of the biggest discount shopping chains and for the beer products is commissioner - they offer 173 beers from 42 breweries...source...
Let's taste :)
Can, 500 ml. Gold yellow color, foam average. In the first sip, a strong aroma of hops is felt, pronounced bitterness, supposedly double IPA. A taste of bread and cereals also some citrus aroma in the background.
Drinkable IPA would say, with a very attractive price of € 1.19 (here, in my country - I think Lidl has different prices across Europe, adapting to the environment).
I have no reason not to take this beer the next time I come to Lidl shop...
