The rise in the price of HIVE has lightened my spirits. The value of my upvote has risen above the 0.02 dust mark. Once again I am able to upvote comments knowing that the commenter will receive the reward.
I had been selling the alt-coins in my HiveEngine account. Since my main account is back in the black, I can start to develop a better alt coin strategy.
So, the first thing I did was to buy a case of BEER. This description for this coin says that I can tip people by writing !BEER in a comment. Staking 24 BEER is supposed to buy me one comment per day.
But lets get back to my day. This morning it was bright and sunny after several days of clouds; So, I decided to take a walk to the post office . It turns out that the post office is exactly 5,000 steps from my back door. Google maps says it is 2.14 miles (3.44 km). It took an hour and a half.
A walk to and from the post office completes my 10k daily steps. I might make use of that at a later time.
When I got home I decided to celebrate the rise in the price of HIVE with a brew. It has been years since my last beer and I was shocked at how the price of beer had risen. Anyway, after careful thought I decided to try a Hard Kumbacha by Flying Embers Brewery.
This is, after all, the age of COVID19. The brew has live cultures, ginger and turmeric which are all supposed to be good for the immune system.
I had the beer on the porch. It was a chance to break out my fancy Utah mug. I got this mug back in the 1970s when thick glass mugs were the rage. I hope my choice of beverage satisfies the HIVE Beer Saturday requirements.
But --- the way I see it --- the fermented beverage one finds in a water-soaked bee hive is called "mead" not beer.
In some logical systems. The bang symbol "!" is a logical-not; so the tag !BEER means "Not Beer"
So, I feel justified to push the rules.
So, you wrote a post that said that you've organized your HIVE life around having enough HP to reward comments. You then said that you bought a case of BEER just so you that you can reward commenters with BEER as well.
