In one post, I will demonstrate how to become a #beersaturday blogger. There needs to be more of us and here's how simple it is.

Sure I have penned over 10,000 posts, am followed by legions, and hold the title of world renowned Blockchain Beerologist. When you look at the man behind the curtain, you will see that this could be you too.

This case study will illustrate how straightforward it is by modestly showcasing the last 8 beer pictures on my phone.

Let's have some beer!

You may recognize this picture from last week's edition of Zeke's Sweet Hops as it was the subject of a covid-inspired beer adventure. https://hive.blog/beersaturday/@zekepickleman/beersaturday-breweries-seizing-the-moment Don't bother voting as it is past the 7 day reward period but feel free to learn about a bold marketing campaign that ended well for everyone.

I am enjoying a Jurassic IPA https://cameronsbrewing.com/beers/as I write this as it has become the staple this week. It is a solid IPA and I have half of them still left in the cold cellar. A simple story, camera photo and link to more information is all you need in a post really. Not too much to it!

A fantastic beer to drink during hard labour in the garden is a cold one. It gets even better when it is a newly redesigned Goose Island IPA https://www.gooseisland.com/goose-ipa I prefer to pound a pint of water before beginning the project and getting enough done to earn yourself a frothy one. This particular can helped me top up an till my main raised garden bed which is now the happy home of cucumbers, tomatoes, beans, peas and the returning asparagus.

Nice immersive close ups work nicely and including beer in everyday chores people can relate to make for good engagement.

This little beauty is a Mind The Stairs Hazy IPA from the local Jobsite Brewery https://www.jobsitebrewing.ca/ I have told parts of their fantastic story many times as I have had the chance to help build the brewery, tasted the first batch, and love to support them with technical help and patronage. As you can tell from the homepage, the light lock-down in Canada has them still in business, but the taproom closed and efforts turned to online sales and free local delivery. My little one mentioned she misses the pizza and popcorn when we visit the taproom for a quick visit and snack. This beer is among my recent favourites because of the nice sweet and bold taste, and I must admit I was shocked by the high 7.9% abv as it doesn't taste like an imperial. Plus I am partial to the shorter cans as a nice change.

I generally don't endorse a wall of text on a beer can label but will make and exception because of special circumstances. This is a special collaborative brew entitled All Together which was offered by another local brewery, Black Swan Brewing https://blackswanbrewing.ca/ The text above and below the logo is a big list of local hospitality establishments who have supported this brewery over the years and now need our support. This is a worldwide collaboration with individual brewers to raise funds for workers in the hospitality industry which is a tough place to be right now. To be truthful, I cannot recall the taste of it specifically, but know it was good enough for me to call great because of the cause and support of our restaurants.

Snap a pic, link it to your community, give your opinion, BAM beer blogger.

While it was Jobsite Brewery that won me over to loving New England IPAs, it was Great Lakes Brewery http://www.greatlakesbeer.com/ that was my gateway into IPAs way back when. They took sport hopping to the next level and had a profound impact on my pallet, leading to my obsession with hoppy and bold strong beer. My mantra was, "I cannot sit and drink 8 pints anymore. So, I want a beer that tastes like 8 pints!"

This brew is fantastic with its sweetness, complicated, yet ballanced hoppiness, and overall scrumptiousness. The label is the block of text with all the key words to attract hipsters defined by drinking tropical, balanced, haze, and will help further define their personna with new and unrelated ones like sacred, visceral and divine. I am not sure I buy into any of that but instantly loved this beer which is a current top 5 easily.

Bold and colourful labels seem to be the hallmark of many craft breweries and the world loves to see the goody, over-the-top examples from your local breweries.

You know your little piece of the universe is aligning when you are enjoying your long time favourite brew and a text comes in reading "I'm one the patio today." The winter is damn long here so spring is special enough. When the leaves and blooms explode, there is such an awakening of your soul when you get outside and just observe. When you enhance that with a beer after some yard work done at a relaxed pace, you have yourself a little piece of fleeting perfection.

Even pics taken as part of a text message conversation make for good beer blog material. Helps to sprinkle with a little suddsy existential musing to make it deep.

Would you look at those refreshing looking vessels! When you are heading to an informal business meeting with your partners, and they too like a little beer break, you make it a 3-fer by supporting your local brewery and bringing libations. "He who bring beer when invited, get invited again" is wisdom imbued upon my by the wise and all knowing supportive soul motivator @evileddy. For the record, our strategy meeting was awesome and lasted over 2 hours because of the wonderful IPA and spicy session ale.

Sunlight, beer and a neat texture makes for a pleasing image which requires very little intelligent text to follow in your blog. You had them with the perspiring containers!

You can finish up your blog with a funny meme you discovered on the intarweeb. Beer is 90% water anyhow ?!?!

The lockdown and its ban on returning empties has me stackin' beer cans like they were $.10 ABBC coin tokens https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/abbc-coin/ I don't expect them to appreciate like my coveted HIVE tokens but will have enough to buy a Bitcoin by the time this is over!
