Since the last Beet development 2 weeks ago a significant amount of development has been underway with excellent progress.
New features in development:
- Limiting permitted blockchain/beet operation prompts during app linking handshake.
- This will limit the scope of potential prompt requests 3rd party apps can trigger after linking with the Beet wallet. This is a step to improve security.
- Supporting all Bitshares operations
- Previously only a handful of Bitshares operations were directly supported, now approx 70 Bitshares operations are fully supported and will enable the next generation of Bitshares applications to be developed.
- Implemented Github action workflows for build and release for Beet
- This means a new release you can download and install will be coming out soon!
- Very initial steps were taken to reintroduce older cryptocurrencies which are currently in maintenance & adding one new crypto (hive). This has been put on the backburner though until we've established greater funding support from each blockchain.
Shout out to the Bitshares committee for continuing to fund the development of the Bitshares BEET multiwallet, much appreciated!
