You can check all our votes on the blockchain from the delegated SP. There hasn't been any syphoning apart from the 10% benef rewards on @dtube videos (which gathered about 200K SP in about 2 years)
Image server is not even 0.1% of my cost, videos cost much more to store you know. I find 1000 HBD per day a bit 'out of scale'.
