I Started To Strip, :D

in #blog4 years ago

No, not my clothes but the caravan.

Guys today has been a great day for me, I had spent the morning fitting my mum another exhaust as the one I fitted last time had fallen down. something to do with the last owner bodging it and putting on the wrong part.

But anyway I then got home to make a start on stripping my caravan, ready for the build.

Here's some pictures.

To make life easier, I am trying to keep each job to one job at a time as I have never done anything like this before.

I have no idea about electrics, but I have a friend who will come and check what I have done once everything is in and before I ply and switch everything on. I don't want to get fried.

I have found some damp areas around the front window that I didn't know was there until some of the cupboards came out.

But with everything as it is, I am staying positive about the whole thing.

I have some ideas about adding some bunk beds to the van so that my 3 kids have somewhere to sleep.

I am also thinking about having a bigger bed area for me and the misses to sleep, and I defiantly want some kind of screen to separate the kids from us while we are in bed.

The guy who sold me the caravan told me not to plug in the electrics as it could blow the fuses in the box, so until I get that sorted I need to work while it is light outside.

I tried to look at other peoples work but no one give a clear picture of what to do so it is all down to me.

It's all fun and games here in the UK and I am looking forward to van life.

until next time stay safe guys
