Day 4 - YouTube Growth - support needed

in #blog • 5 months ago

Hey Hive family šŸ‘‹

Welcome to Day 4 of my journey toward becoming rich mentally and financially by the age of 20. If you’ve been following my series so far—thank you, seriously. Every view, upvote, and comment motivates me more than I can explain.(not getting any tho 😭)

Today I want to talk about something that’s become a huge part of my everyday life—my YouTube channel. It's more than just a side project now. It’s turning into a foundation for the future I’m building.

šŸŽ„ The Beginning: From an Idea to Action

I’ve always wanted to create. I used to watch YouTubers who inspired me, and I thought, ā€œWhat if I tried that too?ā€ But I hesitated. I was scared to be judged, afraid that no one would watch, and unsure if I’d be ā€œgood enough.ā€
But then one day, I realized something important: waiting for perfect timing means waiting forever.

So I recorded my first video. It wasn’t fancy. It wasn’t super edited. But it was real. It was ME. And that was the most important step—the courage to start.

šŸ“Š Where I’m At Now: The Progress So Far

Fast forward a bit, and here’s where I currently stand:

  • 36 videos uploaded
  • 180 awesome subscribers
  • 500+ likes from people who found value in my content
  • 50+ comments—some giving feedback, others just saying ā€œkeep goingā€ (which means the world!)
  • 30+ shares—which honestly blows my mind every time

These numbers may not seem massive in the YouTube world yet. But to me? They are HUGE wins. Because I know every single number started from zero. And I also know I’ve earned each one through consistency, effort, and heart.

🌱 What I’ve Learned So Far

Every time I hit upload, I learn something new—not just about YouTube, but about myself.

1. Discipline matters more than motivation.

There were days when I was tired, uninspired, or doubting myself. But I still posted. I showed up anyway. And I’m proud of that.

2. The quality improves with every video.

From editing smoother transitions to choosing better titles, I can see real progress. The first few videos were super rough—but now I’m getting into my rhythm.

3. It’s not about going viral—it’s about connecting.

Some of my most meaningful moments have come from small comments like ā€œThis helped me,ā€ or ā€œKeep going bro.ā€ It shows me that impact > numbers.

4. Confidence is built by doing.

I’m learning to speak better, think more clearly, and believe in myself a little more every time I step in front of the camera. That’s a skill I’ll carry for life.

šŸ¤ My Viewers = My Team

Every subscriber, every comment, every share—it all feels like someone joining my team. Like I’m not doing this alone. I’m creating content not just for me, but for you too. The people watching. The people supporting. The people who see potential in a 14-year-old chasing something bigger.

And what’s crazy is—people are starting to notice. Some even reached out and said they’re inspired by what I’m doing. That gives me so much energy to keep pushing.

šŸš€ What’s Next?

This is just the beginning. My next goals are:

  • Hitting 500 subscribers
  • Improving my thumbnails and titles
  • Trying new content formats (maybe vlogs, tutorials, or mini-documentaries!)
  • Collaborating with other creators
  • Learning SEO and video marketing to grow smarter, not just harder

I’m treating this like a real business, even at 14. Why? Because I know that if I stay consistent and keep leveling up, this can become something huge.

And even if it takes time, I’m not in a rush. I’m here for the long run.

šŸ’” Why I Share This Here on Hive

You might wonder why I post these daily blogs here. The truth is, Hive is like my diary in public. A place where I can share real updates without filters or fake hype. Where people support raw progress—not just perfection.

I want to show other teens that you don’t have to wait until you’re older to start something big. And I want to look back on this in 5 years and see how far I’ve come. These posts are part of that story.

šŸ™ Support Means Everything

If you’ve made it this far—thank you. Seriously.

If you believe in what I’m doing, please consider upvoting this post. It not only helps me earn from my content, but it also gives me the motivation to keep documenting every day. Your support allows me to keep sharing my journey in real time—wins, struggles, lessons, and all.

Let’s grow together.

Until tomorrow’s blog—
Stay hungry, stay humble, and never stop building.
